Man...that is just crazy. It did seem a bit odd from the get-go...did I read somewhere that she said 60k was stolen from her?

Well...this can't be good for McCain, I'm sure he is incredibly peeved right now...seems desperate on the campaign's part though it shouldn't reflect back on him at all.

i wouldn't go so far as to say the mccain campaign had any direct involvement with this. That said, it did smell like a good old-fashion ratfarking from the beginning.

I'm arguing that there was no way they had ANY involvement. This was just the act of a very misguided person, IMO. My point is that it just makes the campaign look desperate when it really shouldn't since they weren't behind it. If she weren't a campaign worker, it wouldn't get as much traction. Hopefully it will just go away....it's pretty sad, really.

There were so many red flags in that original story and the photo was the most damning piece of evidence that something was not right. Not sure if she was just a misguided person or if she was acting in coordination with some rogue dirty tricks operation, but there is that appearance which isn't good Still, despite the fact that this was like teh most important story evah 24 hrs ago, I doubt the national networks touch it, nor should they -- even though they are totally "in the tank" for Obama and this is a very, very important story (at least it was yesterday afternoon before we knew it was fake).

Funny reading all the comments about how the "attacker" had to been an Obama supporter considering the backwards B, considering she did it to herself and is a McCain campaign worker.
