If there's One City Non Deserving of an Elite Program...

I don't care if I live in Bucksnort and Gameday comes to town, I'm not getting up for a 6am show, much less if I live in LA.

Their fans will fade away once they see LK burn the program to the ground. They seem like fair-weather fans anyways.

There was also a ucla home game today and a downpour a 6 am.

Its also Saturday night on halloween weekend in an area with a billion hot chicks.

People were pumped for the game all week.

It's Los Angelas. Did anyone see that pathetic turnout and tame crowd at Gameday? Further solidifying their pathetic nature is the fact that they failed to sellout tonights game, and have had a combined 44,000 empty seats in 3 home games this year. I can't do much outside of shaking my head at that fanbase.

May the football gods allow the Ducks to blow those clowns out. Kill that program for good.

They still sell more tickets than the Ducks do. And USC is in Los Angeles. There are a million more things to get in to in So Cal

That's soley because of stadium size. Autzen has sold out 72 consecutive games. And counting. Which is, by far, the longest streak of sellouts in college football. And keep in mind, not every Duck season is this good but the fans still come... In Droves.

If Autzen was 90K, they'd still be selling out. USC's fan base is a joke. Everyone in the Pac-10 knows this. There's nothing scary about playing in the Coliseum... It was just the teams that were scary.

Ranking intimidating, game day atmosphere in the Pac-10...

1) Oregon
2) Washington
3) Arizona
4) Cal
5) USC.

I think it's pretty easy selling out a 58k stadium, but if you want to brag about it..go ahead. And besides...it's Oregon. What else is there to do?

I'm just saying, if the Coliseum only held 58K USC would have a NCAA record for consecutive sell outs easy.

Try to pack 96,000 in consistently..now thats worth mentioning.

Consistently? They can't even sell it out for "their bowl game." A college gameday featured, nationally televised night game against arguably the #1 team in the country.

Absolutely. Pathetic.

What about Florida, LSU, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, etc, who fill their stadiums on a pretty consistent basis?

Gainesville, Baton Rouge, Columbus, College Station, Ann Arbor..........

Compare all that's to do in those places with LA.

That really is a poor excuse as to why one can't sell out a stadium.

The Knicks for example, haven't been good in over a decade, the arena still gets filled. Then you have teams like Philly who can't seem to sell out half their arena unless they're a force in the east.

Some fans are flat out more loyal than others.

Espn called it "their bowl game". To the fans its just Oregon. Prett much the same size crown that went to the 2008 game. I know, I was there.

Lane Kiffin and Matt Barkley called it in their bowl game.

Also, the 2008 game didn't have a #1 ranked team in the country. Or a national prime time audience.

In short, it was nowhere near as big of a game and the crowd size was the same... A typically sad showing by USC's fan base.

Selling out 72 straight (and counting) is impressive. It's by far the longest streak in Pac-10 history and Autzen isn't by any means the smallest stadium in the Pac-10. Stanford, 'Zona, Wazzou, and Oregon State all have smaller venues.

Lane Kiffin did not say that is was "their Bowl" game. Besides to the USC fan base, you guys are just Oregon. Win a national title, and maybe you guys will be a big draw. But until then people will still believe you guys care more about what weird football uniform to wear instead of winning the big games. (See Ohio State).

Besides, most of the tickets are already sold...but they are on 3rd party websites(Stub hub) and are marked way above what most people will pay to see a sanctioned team play anyways.
