If they made the flop illegal

Is this our measuring stick now? What statistic shows wimps or pansies? Seriously, this is stupid. He was recovering from surgery, puts up 1000 yards, and we are upset.

For one you could watch the games and see what kind of effort he put forth which in my opinion was about 75% but I'll list his conference stats this year and I'll capitalize the ones that actually have good or decent defenses

FLORIDA 5 for 76- 0 TDs
GEORGIA 3 for 46- 0 TDs
MISSISSIPPI ST 2 for 41- 0 TDs
BAMA 4 for 70- 0 TDS
SOUTH CAROLINA- 8 for 90- 0 TDs
mizzou- 9 for 141- 1 TD
VANDY- 5 for 39- 0 TDs
kentucky- 3 for 65- 1 TD

So he had about 595 yds and 1 TD against mizzou and 1 TD against UK.....then sprinkle in all the drops and it's not real impressive

I noticed that all year...he fell to the ground after almost every catch. I wonder if he was told to do so by the awesome coaching staff we had.....in order to avoid last years injury that somehow caused the entire team to quit....
I wouldn't put it past Dooley.

He's just so lanky, he looked like bambi learning how to walk...

I'm just saying if he doesn't get off that pacifier then ya he is gonna be done for. I'm so glad that I don't have to watch him play another down in Neyland and make a mockery of the team because he is just going with the get rich quick method. Justin Hunter is no VFL

Justin Hunter owes you nothing and he never did.

Yep I agree, I Hunter and Bray had been better on defense we would have won more games.
It does not matter, the defense was the real problem!

Too much blame on bray he was best QB we had and I could tell he wanted to win.....hunter just padded stats against weaker teams to improve draft stock and sandbagged against tougher teams to avoid injury....and truthfully I don't think the loss of hunter will affect us half as much as CP or Bray

Justin Hunter overall yards per catch . . . 14.8 yards
Justin Hunter YPC against SEC opponents . . . 14.6 yards

Go make up something else.

Averaged 60-70 yds a game and scored 1 TD against 2 terrible defenses in conference play

Why don't you try telling the whole story

After watching UT football games I DVR'd , If they made the flop illegal in football like in basketball Justin Hunter would be screwed. I was at every home game so I never really noticed it that bad but the dude as soon as he caught the ball if he was in the open field he would jump in the ground like someone was shooting at him. What a sand bagger.

Showing quite the intensity there Jim by DVR ing and watching all the games.

He may never be an all pro, or even starting, receiver in the NFL but someone is going to give him a shot despite your analysis.

And he probably averaged about 6-7 catches and 80-90 yards against the two best defenses he saw. We can twist these stats anyway you want. But whether he had 1 catch or 10 in a game, it's ludicrous to get on a skinny WR for not putting his head down and running over people.

Am I the only one confused? Catch the ball, in open field, jump in the ground (wtf), and flop? The times I saw him catch the ball in open field, he was off to the races. It was just catching the ball with those alligator arms that was the problem.

I'm not talking about running over people I mean quit whimping out and falling down instead of picking up another 5 yards because tour scared you're gonna get hurt and he wasn't going after any jump balls.....my whole point was that he wasn't as aggressive as he was before because he had another agenda and as far as his numbers in big games go how many big catches did he drop in big games... he wasnt very dependable because he put himself before the team

He flopped like a fish just about every 3rd catch

YPC is a useless stat as it is dependent on the route that was called and hands. Look at YAC. This is where the difference will be, but who can blame him with the pathetic coaching he received. I would take him back another year for certain but the 1-2 drops per game are what really surprised me when I watched him.
