We could be really, really good next year.

Is it that hard to find a guy who can consistently hit a three?

in case you dont remember jajuan did not come in as a guy who was known as a 3 point shooter, he worked at it and became one. hopefully richardson, mcare, woolridge and golden really work on their outside shooting in the off-season.

McBee hasn't been doing too poorly of a job this year

the difference with lofton/smith and mcbee was that both of them could get their own shots, mcbee relies on others. if you have a guy that is athletic enough and good enough to creat his own 3 point shot and can hit at 40% that is a weapon.

I guess you never saw Jujuan play in high school then.

i dont give a $hit what he shot in hs please tell me how the **** that helps the university of tennesse out? Jajuan shot 29% from 3 his freshman year at tennesse, not exactly what you would consider a 3 point speialist.

The same thing came to mind. If we called plays to go to the lane and kick out more often we would see more production from three point range.

when mcbee is in the game his defender is instructed not to help off of him, in other words dont leave mcbee whatever you do. if we throw down to the lane and they help it will come from anybody except mcbee's defender.

I agree with what your saying. We need to set up plays that will get him open. If you have a good three point shooter then it is a waste to only use him sparingly.

its really hard to run plays for someone when everybody in the gym knows what you are trying to do when he is in the game. if he was a better athlete it would help a little bit but he is short, and isnt that fast so it really doesnt help his ability to get open. i almost think we are better off running him as a decoy on screens, because they will leave the ball handler on the screens with him to ensure he does not get open. the biggest weapon he is is in transition the defense not finding him, that is how he found his first 3 tonight, his second came on that last minute fadeaway that lamb was too scared of fouling to get close.

Proud of the team and the coaches. We are an experienced PG and SG away from being a top 20 team. We just barely lost to the #2 team in country and lost close on the road to a top 20. Give Coach Zo time. He is getting it done right.

won't do woolridge any good. his basketball playing days are over at the final season game horn.

amen!!!!

The guy gets his stuff smaked into the third row if he drives, hes not dropping any fade aways anytime so......wtf can u do for the kid?

If he was a step quicker and could drive the lane a lil bit, he'd be a starter

but he's not and people seem to not understand that, they expect him to play against these sec teams like he does against the mid-majors we play. there are 2 key factors in play here, one the athletes arent nearly the same so he is playing on a more level talent scale, and 2 is that teams in the sec know EVERYTHING about you. they are used to playing you 2 times a year unlike a mid major who relies only on tape.
