If we could just find a Lofton or even a JaJuan

Man, you've convinced me that I'm way off on this one! How could I have ever been such an idiot? I have to hand it to you, your 'insult as response' tactics were really effective in getting me to see the light of your argument. "My little story land" brought me down to size and set the stage for the "there's a reason you're not a GM or scout" jab that was the dagger in my heart. Couple your reply approach with the fact that you already have 1,000+ posts since joining the site earlier this month, and I have no choice but to adopt your opinion. In my world, yelling at people via message boards and doing so often demands nothing other than respect. I think others on this board could learn a thing or two from you.

And just so you know, I think your methods on these boards would translate well in parenting practices. Young children, though sometimes slow to catch on to the content of adult language and conversational practices, respond surprising well to mild verbal abuse. If you don't have kids, you should consider it.

In closing, I'd like to apologize to you. I should've known better than to disagree with someone who's obviously an NBA scouting hobbyist. In hindsight, any attempts at having a big-boy debate with you related to basketball talent should've waited until I'd reached the 1,000+ post milestone.

So, again, Kudos to you! Very nicely done, guy.

Very sorry to hurt your feelings as I apparently did didn't mean to so I am very sorry for that. You don't have to accept my opinion that's why it's called an opinion but when you make statements that are incorrect I am going to say something. Saying lofton was first round material is utterly false, saying most on this board agree with you is asinine, and lastly dating lofton would be better than most guys on the end of the bench is blasphemy. If your opinion is that given the chance you think lofton would excel that's fine that's an opinion that isn't stating false facts. I have no problem with you and love lofton as you clearly do as well, but I just prefer people to be realistic and not say things that are completely false and when they are proven wrong to admit they were wrong and maybe retract their statement just a little bit. If I was on here and said Dane Bradshaw is the best ever and would be a hell of a NBA player I would get criticized and corrected on whatever false statements I'd have made in the process of trying to prove my point as you did.

Hurt my feelings? I was being sincere in my assessment of your message board skills. If anything, I'm better of for having been the target of your pre-pubescent verbal lashing. Most sincerely, thank you!

I see that you're improving your game with each post by adding moves to your repertoire. I've never said the things you're attributing to me. Never said Lofton is first round material, never said people on here agree with me, never said he's better than most bench players. Another poster said these things. In fact, I essentially did say the one thing that you're admitting would've been okay for me to say in that Lofton could play reserved minutes off the bench for a bad team. That's not saying much for the guy. It was an opinion.

But I'm tired to talking about Chris Lofton (whom, if you'll notice, in a few posts up I said I couldn't care less about right now...I clearly love him though, so says you). Let's talk about Dane Bradshaw. If you say Dane could be an NBA player, I'd have to choice but to believe you.

Well if you started listening to me most would consider you a much more intelligent man immediately. So please tag along...

In all seriousness I am sorry because looking back at posts i was confusing you with rush. You didn't really say a whole lot that I disagree with except the wizards bench thing but whatever. The majority of the things said I disagreed with were said by rush and I confused you two, I apologize for this mix up. You can hate me but your ok in my book the rush guy is an idiot and I took it that you were saying it I misread so once again my apologies. That's what happens I guess when your trying to write on message bosrds and work at the same time.

lol im a idoit.i guess your the guru here bc you have over 1700 post in 3 weeks.maybe i was off abit by saying saying he projected a 1st round pick after his jr year but im pretty sure some had him a projected a late first round.let me be more clear most people with common sense would agree with me if lofton would never had cancer and all his numbers drop his sr year he would have been drafted and had a real shot in nba.

wrong. run a poll on here and ask that question you will be surprised how many of these posters are actually knowledgable and realize that lofton wouldnt have made it.

did i ever say he would make it???no i didnt.my whole point was cancer cost him the chance to see if he could make it.without cancer he gets drated so that means a team invest something in him and gives him a chance.i wouldnt call a invite to the celtics summer league much of a chance.hes not going to get a chance now unless he just goes crazy over seas.he might not ever got back to form like he was precancer idk i havent seem him play since then but i know he wasnt the same player his sr year as he was the year before.

anyone who says lofton isnt good enough for the nba needs to go talk to all the scouts and everyone else who had him projected a 1st round pick after his jr season.the fact is cancer cost him from being in the nba.

lofton came out and said he would have went pro after his jr but his ankle kept him from working out for teams.chris is pretty smart so i dont think he would have came out if he knew he wasnt going to get drafted.he was already on the map after his jr year and if he hadnt have gotten cancer he would more than likely put up even bigger numbers his sr year and def been drafted and made a roster.now im not saying he would been a star in the nba he might have been a bust but him getting cancer and his numbers going down his sr year cost him his chance imo.

you say quote " cancer cost him from BEING in the NBA". thats saying that he would BE in the NBA if he hadnt had cancer, so right there is you saying he would have made it to the NBA. you then say and quote "definitely been drafted and MADE a roster" once again you saying that he makes a roster, is you saying that he made it into the NBA. Now you are saying that you never said he would make it into the NBA, so there are 2 of your quotes implying without the cancer he would be in the NBA. as i stated earlier there was a recent article i read that chris claims to be in better shape and playing better basketball than he ever played while at UT. he scored a league high 44 points last year in a NBA D-LEAGUE game, im pretty sure someone in the NBA saw this dont you think? there is a reason that he never received a call up and has never received an offer from a team.
