Austin Peay. I want some payback. It’s the offseason, I like to refer to it as “List Season” or “Hypothetical Season” because that’s what a lot of the college football sports talk shows or podcasts only have to talk about in early May.
My question is this…
Let’s say we make the CFP this season and we go 10-2 and get to host a game as a 5-8 seed in Neyland (remember 5 seeds will host a Group of 5 school like Liberty or Coastal Carolina or Memphis). Who do you want in Neyland Stadium in a Playoff atmosphere?
My top 3
1)Notre Dame
2) Ohio State
3) Clemson

UGA, because that would mean we are ranked higher and had a better season. Love to have you guys back at Autzen, you've got great fans. And I'm sure the Vols would have pay back in mind. Can't blame you.I’m listening to Andy Staples most recent podcast and he does his post spring, post portal Top 25. He breaks down his 12 College Football Playoff predictions and he breaks it down and how it would play out . He has us getting the last at large bid and playing in Eugene vs Oregon in the 6 vs 11 game. I could definitely be on board for that.
I would love to go out there if it worked out that way. I don’t know if I could get away from the family the week before Christmas to do it though. Games and potential matchups like this on college campuses are why I’ve been so pro-Playoff expansion.Love to have you guys back at Autzen, you've got great fans. I became a secondary Ducks fan after that series. I was offered smoke, booze, and food around almost every corner. Unfortunately, I was active duty at the time so I couldn't toke, but the sentiment was nice.Notre Dame or OSU. No hate for Oregon. I went to the 2013 game in Oregon when they blew us out, but the Oregon people were first class all the way.
