lol ouch. that b**ch put a nail in our coffin...daaammmnnn.
ESPNU 100 point guard Josh Selby is set to announce his college decision at the Jordan Brand Classic in New York City on April 17, his mother, Maeshon Witherspoon, confirmed to ESPN's Kansas affiliate The Shiver.com, Kansas Jayhawk and Big 12 Conference sports forums.
Despite rumors that Tennessee had made its way back on to Selby's list, Witherspoon reiterated that her son will choose between Kansas, Kentucky, Connecticut and Arizona.
The Jordan Classic will be shown live on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. ET.
(this coming from the ESPN recruitment news ticker)
she must obviously need the money...no time like the 'one-n-done' present to exploit her childs chance at some edumucation.
Maybe we shouldn't call potential recruits' mothers "*****es." Just a thought.
perhaps :ermm:
When SHELBY gets up on that podium during the Jordan Classic and proclaims his desire to play for KU/KY/AZ/UCONN, then his mother shoves him out of the way yelling and screaming all the while into the microphone stating, "Damn you to hell utkCREW!!! Damn you to hell!!!"....THEN, I will respectfully accept all responsibility for our downfall.
Abraham is a project anyway, I was never that enamoured with him. Maymon will be a solid, not spectacular player, which will be just fine for us.
sweet british touch and absolutely right on Abraham. People were excited because our name was in the ring, but he's a project.
Maymon's skill set isn't what he believes it to be and it's too small to be what he should be. He might upgrade the skills and be solid, but he's leaving Marquette because of the above dichotomy.
Who is he targeting? I've heard Cothron looks awful on tape and there is some super-secret player that is committed to another school. Are either of these opinions correct?
He's already signed his LOI.
