My personal feelings are he would have to be eating Dooley Wacky Bambacky to lose 8.

If we do lose 8 next year though, I think it is grounds to fire Hart (might as well include Cheek while we're at it), and the next's guys first job is to line up the next guy. CBJ have to win something special in Y2 to carry-on.

We let Dooley carry-on after the KY loss, and I think we all agree it was a huge, huge mistake.

Just be thankful they let you post crap like this on this site. Really, all Butch has done up to this point in recruiting and getting former players back to UT in a short period of time. Which he hasn't coached a game yet at Tennessee. You would even think of something like that. Butch Jones will be here a long time. Book it!!!

Clearly, the guy to replace Hart would have to repair the damage Hart did with the Gruden relationship. That would be first and foremost, although the bridge may have been burnt completely.

The guy to replace Cheek might actually make headway towards being a Top 25 research institution. He simply could not do worse in that regard than Cheek.

We don't fire him if he goes 4 and 8 because he will be playing with Dooley's players and it will prove that Dooley could not recruit or coach.

I started to make a thread if we go 2 and 10 do we fire Butch but if that happens we certainly have to fire him.

At this point, yes. Ellis Johnson just went 0-12 during his first year at Southern Miss.
