If we have 1 more scholarship in 2011, IT NEEDS TO GO TO THIS KID:

Just call it like I see it.

This statement is obviously incorrect. First, you object to many posters saying that he is not good enough for major, D-I ball; implicitly stating that he is. Second, you state that his offer list is better than some of our recruits and mention Penn State, implicitly stating that he has received an offer from the Nittany Lions.

I would like to see proof of the PSU offer.

Cant post a link from my phone. Google Joey gripper Penn state and its the Scout article 5 links down. Names penn state in his top 5 and says hes planning on visiting. I never said he was offered, i said penn state was his favorite. Which was quoted on another site.

I don't get the hate. While I agree he's not what we need, his offer list is better than some of our recruits. Says Penn state is his favorite.

U did kinda imply that he had been offered with this.

But for people to say he was nothing more than a solid hs player, that is obviously wrong. The kid has D1 offers.

Okay, so he has d1 offers exactly like I said. Your point? I never said he was gonna be a star, just that people saying he was only a solid hs player were wrong.

He is terrible; as are the programs that are recruiting him.

Terrible? Yet good enough to get d1 offers? Okay. Must be nice to get your education paid for because you're terrible at something. What am i doing paying all this money for school, all i had to do was be terrible at something. Damn.

Sounds like a personal problem you have.

You are butt hurt because your initial statement was ridiculous and you have been called out on it. If we are talking about Division I basketball, the kid is terrible. I stand by that, as his lack of any decent offers attests to.

As for you having to pay for your education, while he might not, I'm not sure what exactly you want me to say. Your personal failures are your own problem.

His education might end up being paid for, which is unfortunate for anybody else who either pays tuition to the school he chooses or pays taxes in that state. His basketball prowess is not worth anyone paying for his inclusion on any basketball team and it is an absolute waste of money.

All I said was he was a D1 player, and I was right. No matter how you try to twist it I was correct. I could care less where the kid goes because he's not good enough to play here. And I never said he was.

You most certainly implied it when you said 'his offer list is better than that of the guys we are recruiting'.

Enjoy that fence.

Penn State basketball is a joke! They usually pull off 1 upset a year, and are usually at the bottom of the big ten year after year..

You said you grew up watching him play and you expected him to make waves in college basketball. I'd rather offer Lester Wilson and to clarify, he is nothing more than an incredible athlete and dunk artist. You also said you'd rather see him here than at San Diego St which implied he was offered by them and no school among his 6 D-1 offers even compares to them. Not even close. Your friend should go take that free ride to Harvard and get a degree from one of the most prestigious s schools in the country.

Stupid thread is stupid

I've never heard of him until this thread. And he's definitely not good enough to play here. I simply stated he was a D1 prospect and got jumped for it. Pretty funny.
