When would be the last time we landed that many quality kids from our own state?

Landing Richardson, Clear, Kerbyson, Crowder, Downs, Dunaway, & King would give us 7 out of the top 15 in our own state. Talking about putting a fence around the state!! :dance2::rock::dance2::rock::dance:

I was thinking the same thing. We might even wind up signing a couple others from the state. I would love that. For some reason I have a feeling that Clear might shaft us for the Gators. I really hope that does not happen. One of the many things I like about Coach Dooley is the fact that he is genuine. The recruits can sense that and it is paying nice dividends.

Any chance Shaquille Love from Harriman gets an offer?

I would be VERY shocked if Love got an offer. I would also be VERY dissapointed, he is not SEC D1 material.

Glad to see Dooley put an emphasis on keeping TN players instate, however I would like to see UT grab some top players out of other states as well.....

I'm pretty sure that's the case, I remember he came for camp & had a meeting with the coaches. I think the staff gave him a conditional scholly offer depending on his grades, atleast that was the talk on here.

When Coach O came here what recruit was it he said we'd get by signing day Gordon or Teague? A little off topic, but I wouldn't count out Jabriel yet. Especially if he plans to play CB. He could also fill our slot WR role if we miss on Arnett and Dallas

I don't know that. Just saying it's kinda weird that he was supposed to visit 2 straight weeks and commit after each visit but never made it in.

I know, that's why I didnt put that your sure we passed on him. I just said that you think we might have.

I think we missed a lot last year. Here are some and where they went. I dont know the story on all of them but kiffin missed a lot.

Alabama:
Brandon Ivory-3 star, no.9 prospect in tn, 73rd best dt in nation, 6-3 330 pds

Harrison Jones-3 star no.8 prospect in tn, no.19 te in nation (was never comin here because of brother)

Keiwone Malone- 4 star no.3 prospect in tn, no. 32 wr in nation

Kentucky:
Tim Mcadoo-3 star no.12 prospect in tn, no.76 dt in nation, 6-2 310 pds

Avery Williamson- 3 star no.14 prospect in tn, linebacker, 6-2 220 pds

LSU:
Justin Maclin-4 star, no.5 prospect in tn, no. 20 de in nation, 6-4 215 pds

Ole Miss:
Jared Duke-3 star, no.13 prospect in tn, no.67 ot in the nation, 6-6 325 pds

MSU:
Fernando Bohanna-3star, no.7 prospect in tn, no.15 lb in nation, 6-0 232 pds

Southern Miss:
O.C. Brown-4 star, no.6 prospect in tn, no. 11 og in nation,6-2 312 pds

Thats a lot, and I left off the 2 star players. We could really use those dl and ol guys. Kiffin surely didnt put a fence around TN, I hope DD does.
