Kelly inherited a lot of defensive talent when he came to Cincinnati. I think 4 or 5 of the guys are playing in the NFL right now.

Really. Cincy had ONE----1---starter back on D this year. Thats 10 new guys this year. That's coaching.

I want UM to stay. I want to beat Meyer more than UF. Tennessee should not need coaches to leave to be successful in the league. We need Fla. Bama, GA, to be good teams---that's what makes the SEC King---The winner of the SEC CG goes to the Nat'l Title game every year---we want that to continue, just play a bigger role.

There is zero truth to that at this point. Kelly is certainly high on ND's list but there are others on the list and it will be a very thorough process believe me. Notre Dame will be very tight lipped about all of this, and no decision has been made on Weis yet.

If ND wants Urban they will get him. They have the money and all else that is needed to bring a coach in regaurdless of how much another university will match; ND can most certainly make a counter offer that Florida wont be able to match. We all know what talks and what walks so its only a matter of time IMO.

If CUM goes to ND, where does Florida look? Promote Charlie from within, or is that too defensive-minded for all the offense they love down there? Does Kelly go to FL?

Meyer will not go to ND. Hes a rock star now, can make any amount of money he wants.

Florida will match anything ND offers so the only reason he would get excited is the fact he knows his name will come up and he will get a raise.

Stoops is just dangling a carrot to get a raise himself, I dont see him going.

Brian Kelly is the top guy who could end up there.

How would the bigs at ND take such a drastic offensive change considering they have ran the pro since ive started watching College Football..

Not quite sure we go after another WR with 4 in the fold at this point. Especially now that we probably have to take at least 2, if not 3, DBs. Not quite sure how high Tai-ler would be on our board regardless.

Martin would be huge, especially when you add him to our current DE class and maybe Lemonier/Irvin as well. If we can get him to visit (maybe this week?), we would have a legit chance.

We never wanted Moore so I doubt we push now.

We really wanted Shembo, but, at this point, I don't think he's very high on our LB or DE board.

It was debated that Rees was higher on our board than Scroggins. Either way, with us not pushing for either JUCO and Jesse staying west, we may put the press on Rees. Either him or Rettig.

Hendrix has been an utter disappointment and we would be wasting a scholly if we were to push for him.

Cincinnati played 17-18 defensive players significantly last season about 5 or 6 of them who started at least 2-3 games last year....Derek Wolfe, Ricardo Matthews, Curtis Young, Aaron Webster, and Andre Revels all had starts last year and a ton of experience. That is simply the national media running a story without really knowing the facts.

If Weis is gone (big if still IMO) it sounds like Bob Stoops is someone ND is going to make a serious run after.

the GCL "greater cincinatti league" is the best collection of high schools team in one area in the nation. They get really good players from their own back yard.

Tai-ler would be a great replacement / upgrade over Nuke IMO. Hes extremely quick.

i just home we dont loose grann to memphis, hes a great coach and better recruiter, but if he waits a year or 2 he will be mentiond for big name jobs like this one, and another guy i really like (hate the program) is bud foster.


on urban meyer, i hope he stays and i want to beat him, but i wanted to beat him and the great whiner together.
