Hopefully we get the best of both worlds. Meyer talks to ND, we cherry pick a few high profile prospects while his future is uncertain, he stays and we get to beat the crap out of him anyways. Maybe we'll even pull a recruit or two from ND.

I think the Meyer to Jacksonville Jags rumor has some legs. They are losing money and the thought is if they bring in the lovers meyer and teblow that will get people in the stands.

haven't heard that one yet. Interesting. I think they just moved to 5-4 though with that win yesterday, didn't they? Hard to imagine them getting rid of Del Rio if they finish with a winning record and a shot at the wild card.

If I was ND, I would contact Urban and throw some serious $ his way, if he tells me no like I might expect im callin Harbaugh at Stan. And then Kelly third.

I hope Meyer stays because we never got Spurrier back b/c he is different with USCjr than with the gators! Meyer will leave if given the job but man I want to kick that.......

You are just guessing. No decision has been made at all. I'm not saying Kelly won't get the job I am just saying ND will talk to more than just Kelly. Who do you think you know?

I will be shocked if Kelly gets the ND job. Just shocked. Too many skeletons. And a liberal pro-choice catholic that has been known to actively campaign for candidates would not be a good fit at all for ND. Not going to happen.

UT fans HOPE he will but it's not happening. Meyer is a "rock star" at the UF and with the SEC TV deal exposure is at a alltime high. He's won 2 NC and he's putting together a monster recruiting class NO coach would leave that work for another coach. Also UF would match any money that ND offers so take the money out of it. The "real" reason he would stay is because of your coach. He NEVER wants him to be more than second tier in the SEC. Kiffin started a "ego war" with Meyer so he'll be at UF for a few more years just to beat Kiffin yearly so as long as Meyer wins 9+ games yearly ND job will alwyas be his to take.

That theory is on the same plane of stupid as Spurrier leaving for the NFL because he was afraid Fulmer was getting the upper hand.

No one thinks that. If Richt, Nutt, Tubberville, South Carolina Spurrier, and Lloyd Carr can beat you, Kiffin can and will do the same.

Spurrier had BIG dreams not really sure if Phil called him a liar or cheat but Meyer ego want allow anything to come between his "owning" Lane yearly. Sorry boys Meyer is Gator unless he has Spurrier dreams.
