Why do you care if I care?

I think people that do it look like idiots.

:hi:

I don't

The next time you go to a PGA golf tournament, you should walk up to everyone wearing their golf shoes and tell them they are an idiot. That would be pretty funny and might make you feel better, unless of course, they didn't take too kindly to your rudeness and kicked you in the face. :eek:hmy: That would be even funnier :)

It's like some rule that you have to wear this to golf tourney.

Golf company hat
Shiny golf shirt tucked in
Khaki pleated shorts
White Ankle socks
Trainers/golf Spikes
Oakley style shades

I don't understand it.

what's wrong with a golf polo with khakis or shorts? that's pretty much standard attire on a golf course, regardless if you're playing or not.

Sounds like somebody wears golf shoes to tourneys.

Sunday at Augusta 2009, the number of guys I saw wearing golf shoes wasn't the most disturbing part, it was the ones who also had a glove in their back pocket and their oakleys on the back of their caps with the sun in their eyes.

Because I don't want to dress like an out of shape middle aged white guy.

This is awful and pretty much the standard. These guys are actually playing so they get a pass.

Play golf more. Go to different courses ad get out of the fashion editor business.

And let me guess, you carry a 19?

Go to the Masters in wet weather and you'll wish you had them. I came close to busting my ass several times a few years back.

I don't play anymore. Don't have the time. But you missed my point. Spectators at a tourney dress like they are playing and they all dress they same. It's like going to an NBA game and everyone is in jerseys, hightops and headbands.

So how many Ed Hardy shirts do you have?

That's quite a leap. So do you think those guys are dressed nicely or are you just saying that because you look like one of the guys in the pic?

polo + khaki shorts = middle aged white guys?

i'm 24 and know plenty of people and have several golfing buddies that all wear the attire i originally mentioned when playing. there's a bunch of courses that don't even let you play if you don't have a golf polo or aren't dressed appropriately.

not trying to put down your post or anything or sound all high and mighty, but when i step onto a golf course i generally don't have on jeans and a t-shirt. the picture above is more or less what you're expected to wear.

Racist, imo.

Why is this so difficult to understand? Wearing golf spikes to a tourney is no different than wearing golf attire to a tourney IMO. That's what I'm trying to say.

Thats why I said, These guys are actually playing so they get a pass.
