If you could change the outcome of ONE play...

UT vs UF in 2006

Our Pick 6 that was called back because of a late hit on Chris Leak.

That game was over if that play would have stood.

One I would love to change is a 3rd and 5 against LSU in the 2007 SECCG. If we had that one go differently, the whole landscape of Tennessee football suffering we've experienced since 2008 might have been different. Imagine going on to win that game and then winning another top tier BCS Bowl Game. Fulmer might have had a longer leash to put us past the danger of hiring Kiffin. Maybe Fulmer holds things together a little better until we were ready to hire Jones without having to suffer the Dooley era.

This is the one that came to mind for me.. If we win the SEC in 07 there's no way they fire CPF in 08 and MAYBE we never get as low as we have been. Coulda woulda shoulda

UGA "hob nailed boot" game in 2001. Spurrier had bolted to the NFL, so it was UT & Fulmers time to take control of the East. Instead, new UGA HC Mark Richt took he upset & filled the vacuum that most felt was UTs to fill. I truly believe this was the start of our downward trajectory.

Now the Florida fans are joining us in the ritual creating of "best/worst-in-UT-history" threads.

Can't wait for the first game to start.

BINGO! That was the turn of UT football in this down period. In retrospect, it seems crazy we were throwing every down from deep in our territory with not much on the clock and a 1 point lead. We should have won that game.

Good call, that's #2 in my book behind the 2001 SECCG.

1) 1990 Alabama blocks Tennessee game winning field goal and it rolls backwards into field goal range for Bama. (They ran down the clock and kicked a FG to beat us)

2) David Palmer 2 point conversion to tie us in 93

3) Cody blocks our Game Winner in 09

4) Cory Anderson fumble on the Bama 3 yard line in 05

5) Kelly interception in end zone against #1 Notre Dame in 90

I attended every one of these games. The Notre Dame game was SO COLD.

Have to agree with the first one, the Rohan Davie injury. We were ready for him but not for Matt Mauch. The SEC changed that day at the SEC championship. We ushered in the Nick Saban era. I remembered watching the players come back from the huge win at Florida and got off the bus with roses in their mouth. I knew then we were in trouble in the championship game.

the UT vandy game when we beat vandy in the last play. if we lose that game, dooley is fired a year earlier.

That play where Janzen Jackson caught Brandon James coming across the middle.

Brandon is still drinking his dinners thru a straw. I feel sorry for him

Wasn't it first down? They had just drove the length of the field, I'm not sure I like our chances of stopping them another 3 times.

It's the fact that it wasn't a catch. i believe it was a goal line situation at the 8 or 9 yard line. We could of stopped them, but it feels worse when it wasn't a real catch.

The UGA from last year sucked, but they did drive down the field to tie it up. We blew it, but you have to give them credit for coming back. That flordia game felt like a screw job and they didn't earn it!
