‘23 IL WR Carnell Tate (Ohio State commit)

how in the world can any top receiver not see this offense and commit without a seconds hesitation? mind boggling
I agree to a certain extent, problem is Ohio State’s offense is pretty receiver friendly too and they have more recent draft success. But hopefully we’ll get to that point again just gotta stay patient and keep recruiting great prospects

Hopefully we can steal this kid away from them as well

Tate has a chance to be in the rotation early here.

To the point, it doesn't matter. WRs see the #s and the draft potential. Can't beat it

Yeah that’s why I think the whole you play nobody thing is a bit overrated. WRs see OSU throwing it all over the field and getting guys locked in the first few rounds every year. I don’t think they care about who OSU plays. Like you said, just the stats.

Kinda figured Tate was going to OH
We'll be ok without him...
Do good this year and other will come
But on a side note Kasper going to the Ducks and they're getting spanked pretty bad,so much for that 11 ranking

The same could be said at Ohio State. I really hope he ultimately chooses us in the end, but people acting like a kid choosing Ohio State, arguably one of the most receiver friendly programs in the country, is a weird choice is odd.
You serious? Like seriously think he has a chance to get on the field at Ohio state as fast?

How many top notch WRs can OSU take? They are getting yet another 4*WR soon (Mylan Graham)!

So far they have: Inniss(5*), Noah Rogers(4*), Tate (4*), B. Rodgers(4*). Sheesh!

Maybe our best shot at getting him from that crowded WR class is he is not being called daily by their QB of the future.

A hunch? Or do you know something?
His body language says he likes Tennessee. He's still in contact with the coaches. I think his mind is telling him TOSU, because that was his dream, but his heart could be down here in the mountains.

I think he changes his mind when it dawns on him how packed that receivers room is @ tOSU and how our offense performs this year.

Personally, I would rather have Devin Hyatt than Carnell Tate. Just based on the family he is from and the familiarity that he has with our offense via his brother. Also, who knows how well Jaylin will do this year and if he will even be an NFL prospect but… If he is a fringe draft prispect and his brother is coming on board…next year he would almost certainly stick around so he could play for a season with his brother. We need to show Devin some love and see if we can get him. But truthfully this offense is so explosive anyone we put out there is going to out up stats
