In addition to Slack's recruitment, Moore is closely following the decision-making process of top 2023 wide receiver Carnell Tate‍, who initially planned to commit earlier this month before adjusting his timeline.

"When he put a date out, Oct. 8, we were texting each other. I'm like, 'dang man, you're committing real early.' After that, I don't know if it was because of family situations or people talking to him, but I'm actually glad that he changed his date because we've been talking about colleges and stuff together.

"That's the No. 1 wide receiver in the class I want to play college football with. So seeing wherever he goes, it's probably going to be a bigger boost to me. AP never acted the way he has about state toward Kasper or Rojas….. people just takes a little bit of info and ran with both of them. You have to look for what word usages that AP uses….. I felt that Kadper was promising but never felt like AP was hinting he was ours…. I couldn’t tell if we were in on Rojas or not…. Info was very limited with him and apparently for good reason.
