‘23 IL WR Carnell Tate (Ohio State commit)

I think Kiffin and maybe Dooley could have done that with Mac Jones and Bama-like talent at the OL and skill positions. Maybe even Butch too. You have to remember, at one point Bama’s entire 1st string defense was 5-stars, and the OL is basically NFL. It’s not hard to make average players and average coaches look good with ridiculous talent. Hell - Pruitt was an otherworldly DC at Bama and what is he doing now? The list is long and distinguished of the great coaches at Bama that didn’t squat outside of that system.

Saban gets credit for making it work and putting the system together, which makes him the GOAT with the results. But I don’t think he could replicate what he did at Bama anywhere else.
Except for that national title at LSU.

No wonder he didn't visit. He got on his thread and all he hears is SATAN. He got scared.

You're saying that "a national championship" is the equivalent to the current Bama dynasty? In the same way that a grain of rice is the equivalent to the best Chinese dinner you ever had?
I’m saying he said he didn’t think Saban could replicate that anywhere else. He won one at LSU; he would’ve won another most likely seeing how Les Miles did as well. LSU can pull talent probably moreso than Bama can.

It can be argued that LSU and Georgia are the easiest schools to recruit to in the country,

Your argument went from what Saban did at LSU (a single title) to what you think he would have done. It's OK if you want to argue opinions about what Y’all will never know. But your post read like it was comparing the single national title to the dynasty success we all know Saban has actually built.

I get what you are saying but we see blue chip busts all the time. The fact is Saban has developed at an extremely high level. While yes it’s easier to develop a 5*, the fact remains he develops.

Saying you don’t think Saban could do that anywhere else falls flat. How relevant was LSU before he got there? How many NCs did LSU win before Saban? You don’t think Saban could have had better success than Meyer did at OSU? Or Smart at UGA? I disagree.

I don’t have the numbers on it, but I would bet that Saban has had more than his number of 5-star busts and yes, he puts a lot in the NFL. I think it is skewed by the the sheer numbers of 5-stars he gets.

You make a good point about OSU and Georgia.

apparently, the youtube "cruitin expert" named 'the depressed ginger' has given his crystal ball for tate to ohio state with 100% confidence. so can we close out this topic please since the ginger has given his thoughts. he states his belief that tate told vol coaches he was not interested in coming here as the reason they are "shifting their NIL resources" to chandavian bradley. i guess we only have money for one more player in his eyes, so this is bad news all the way around
