Not hearing that from anybody right now.
I love that everyone is mad. They were laughing when we were rock bottom. So I def love the constant tears and complaining now. Only gonna get better.

Sounds like up to $1mm possibly. Maybe a top 10 guy. "Just" top ~30 maybe half of that...?

Just guesstimating. I'd imagine we may not be paying the most for WRs because our scheme takes care of so much. I feel like we should be paying market premiums mostly on defense, QB, and OL. The rest mostly takes care of itself in this elite offense.

I think Tennessee is probably more willing to overpay for a Elite WR because of scheme fit . This is probably going to become like the nfl draft where there is a cap on NILs tho

That’s allowed because of collective bargaining. For them to regulate NIL the same, they would have to put the billions in network and merchandising deals on the table. Not happening.

Hopefully not. I'd guess our scheme and productivity speak for themselves and we won't need to overpay. Don't see why we would. Jmo

Not sure what you mean by a cap on NIL. These are private deals. It's nothing like the NFL. Brady could be paid a billion dollars by a third party for his name, image, or likeness...has nothing to do with salary caps, because it isn't salary...

Exactly capping NIL goes against our human rights to free enterprise in a free market, not sure why that word continue’s to be used it’s like people want socialist values

This. The way I understand the Supreme Court decision, university involvement in NIL and transfer portal are really the only things the NCAA, SEC, etc could regulate.

The NCAA can’t cap a separate business. It’s like saying the NFL can cap how much the players make for doing commercials. It’s a totally separate entity.
If the schools were the ones paying the NIL then sure they could place a cap on it. But if I want to hire a player to do promos for my business you can’t tell me how much I can pay him . That’s where the violations would occur.

People seem to keep forgetting who the payors are with NIL.
