I'm curious why people are against immigrants

Whoa!!! I meant illegal immigrants.

Why don't we freak out over every single law and law breaker?

I mean why is it illegal immigrants that we freak out about?

Why do they bother us so much?

Why this issue and not another issue? Why is it illegal immigration that stirs our angst so much?

Has it directly affected you? I guess that's what I'm wondering.
So you're saying some laws should be adhered to and other laws can be ignored?

That's why they should do it legally.

But the truth is somewhere between what "ought to be" and what "is."

I don't know. I was in another country illegally at times. Never tried to be on purpose, but sometimes things lapse here and there and it gets murky between tourist visa and work permits and all of that jazz and bureaucratic stamps and the like. No matter.

I'm just curious why this issue raises so many buttons. Most people in Texas don't give a rats ass but people in Georgia do. I don't understand it I guess.

I guess everybody wants to blame someone else for their own problems. The Czech always blamed the hungarians or the Ukrainians for entering illegally. We hate the Mexicans and the Mexicans probably hate the Costa Ricans and the Russians hate the Georgians and the Ukrainians hate the Afgans and oh it goes on and on.

I guess I just mind my own business. That's what I was taught. Do right, do the best you can, and the rest takes care of itself.

I don't have time to worry about other folks' legality issues, I suppose.

They don't bother me none.

Why do they keep you up at night?

because the illegals and the porous borders they cross cost the US more than most other crimes. It's also a much larger problem and should be easily identified/corrected if the people in charge were actually interested.

I have several reasons, but for S&G's I'll start a list....

1. They do not pay income taxes.

For the record, based on a June 16 Rasmussen Reports poll...

69 percent of Texans say American troops should be used along the Mexican border to prevent illegal immigration, and 59 percent would favor an Arizona-style enforcement measure.

I have a problem with legal immigrants who commit illegal acts, are connected to terrorist organizations, fund terrorist groups, preach the overthrow of the American government in favor of adopting sharia law and subjecting America to the authority of a caliph etc etc etd.

I have a problem with ANYONE who does those things, whether he calls himself American or Canadian or Mexican or Tecan.

I don't think we should allow illegal immigrants to stay in this country. However, if I was a Mexican with a starving family residing in Mexico and I had a choice to enter legally(which takes years to decades), or I could just swim across the RIO. I can understand how they choose the latter.

That's silly. Do you freak out over every law being broken at every moment of every day?

Why does the illegal immigrant issue freak you out?

do you live in a border state? if not. STFU because you have no idea what illegal immigration is doing to those states.

1) I have a problem with people who are unwilling to work to make their own country a better place to live, so they choose to sneak into a neighboring country to leach off and export whatever assets they can accumulate and to import the same defeatist points of view and political positions that made their country the wonderful place they wanted to flee, all the while displaying an arrogant disdain and even hatred for the people in the country that they have illegally invaded, rather than recognizing that there are reasons this country was better and assimilating to it.

2) I have a problem with an immigration policy that sends folks who really would love to be a part of this great nation, and enjoy and support the capitalist liberties that we were once known for, through a ringer of immigration paperwork and red tape contortions while at the same time allowing the folks mentioned in #1 above practically unfettered access to come and go, leach and export, as they please, all in the name of preserving political power for the statists regardless of the destruction and burden wrought on our country.

France's president just expelled a bunch of Gypsies who were in the country illegally. Too bad our president isn't trying to do what is actually good for the country.

I am currently being sued by three illegals for a car crash a couple year ago. Fender bender and they are suing me for 80k each for permanent emotional and physical damage.

Arbitration is tomorrow. I have insurance, but it's a joke they can sue me.

I've had enough people warn me about gypsies while in Europe. However, we probably still wouldn't kick them out. We would probably just find a new race for them so people who want them gone would just be labeled as racists.
