coaching discipline is the D not giving up too many huge plays.... there were far less gaping plays today than last year. but it clearly is not a substitution for talent and depth.... that's where recruiting comes in.

and honestly the coaches are doing fine recruiting. its this site that could turn players off.

but farewell fairweather fans. see you in 2015 when you claim to be "all vol" again.

OP....later. Don't know what some people expected the last two weeks. 99% of the population had us at 2-2 before the season started. We move on and will improve. However, there is not going to be much on-field improvement over the next 6 weeks, unfortunately. i GUARANTEE that I will still be a fan in 6 weeks no matter what happens. Any others want to bail off...go right ahead!

How does one just "quit" his team. I guess I don't understand because, as silly as it sounds to some, this team and school has my heart. I don't just cheer them on, I love my state and my school. Football in Tennessee is not something you just quit.. I was raised to cheer this team, and I am raising my children to cheer this team. I understand the frustration and everyone has a right to share their opinion, but if you can "quit" this easily than you were never really a fan in the first place.

Loyalty towards a University's sports programs and the generational, geographical, innate feeling of pride felt in that isn't something any of us can discard upon a whim. Sorry you missed out on that exceptional bond. Your absence will not be felt.

You truly are an embarrasement to Tennessee Football! I saw an extremely out-matched team with a coach who was coaching like his life depended on it and a team who gave it their all to the bitter end! While he may have made the wrong call with the qb today it is what it is. He was looking for a spark and Peterman did not deliver. VOLNATION sure will miss you! I wish about 1500 would follow in your footsteps! I AM ALL IN! GO VOLS!
