My question to all of these people is what did they want us to do when Pearl got suspended for a year or two? Are we just gonna let some Joe Blow hold his spot until he can come back? Is anyone going to want to come play for some place holder? No, the basketball team was headed toward the outhouse with Bruce at the helm. I love the guy but even he knows it was gonna happen.

I will miss Bruce and am grateful for what he did got UT basketball..but everyone's anger should be directed at the one person responsible for this whole situation - Bruce Pearl. He's the one that lied, the top dog, the man in charge, it all came back to him with no one available to take the fall..

its all Bruce's fault and the university had no other option.

I think he resurfaces, but it won't be anytime soon. You know what really is comical about the whole thing is people have done much worse. Pearl tells a lie and the house comes down. You would think it would have been a payment or something. The NCAA is a bunch of azzclowns. They'll hammer the school, they'll hammer Pearl, then let Jim Tressel walk the sidelines at State next year. Two faced, double standard, butt wipes, they should hang out with the UN.
