I've been wrong to criticize this man. I will hold high hope that he proves to be one of the best we've ever had. Can't call myself a Vol fan otherwise. Joe Milton will be responsible for multiple scores vs Clemson and lead us to victory!!

As many, if not most, know, I'm all Joe. I have to admit that his hand wringing grabbed my attention. Now, he might be just uncomfortable with presser interviews, which I hope is the case. I sure don't want it to be having jitters for the upcoming game, as that would imply things I don't even want to think about. It might be he's well aware of fans doubt in him, and leery of questions about that. Along concerned with his being able to provide tactful responses. So I'll stop here, and just say the hand wringing caught my attention.

No matter what age, it ain't easy to talk to a crowd. It's the number one phobia. Dspite the hand wringing, he was very responsive with intelligent answers.

Wouldn't it be nice if the University provided a microphone for the reporters so that we could hear their questions and not just answers?

Yeah, why do these videos at all if fans can't hear the questions? It would cost a pittance to provide a mic for the questions. Drives me crazy.

There aren't really any reporters in the room. Players are told to go up and ad lib responses to imaginary questions.

It boils down to keeping everyone safer, especially those of us watching on TV.
It appears some of you need a new hearing aid

anyone know what the record is for yards completed in passing for the Orange Bowl?

Joe's going to break it.

I'm cautiously optimistic..........this is the same guy who Hooker beat out because he was so much more accurate with his arm. Has Milton put his probelms behind him? We'll find out soon enough.

People need not to forget that Clemson Defense is kinda scary. They have like 3 guys projected in the first round. and likely 6 that will get drafted total and that's just from the front 7. They got 40 sacks this year, they also generated 13 picks. To put that in perspective we got 27 sacks and 9 ints.

Milton having a decent game against these guys is a good sign for next season. Anyone expecting this game to be a cakewalk is sadly mistaken. Even if Hendon was healthy and we had no Opt outs this would be a hard test for the offense. This is easily the second best Defense we have seen all year behind GA. Folks get things twisted because of the DJ Oglyboogly stuff. Clemson only lost 2 games and the same team that booted us from the playoffs did it to them the next week.

I honestly think this will be a heck of a game. Which is great because, so far this bowl season has been terrible.

Their secondary is almost as bad as ours. ALMOST. 2 of their 1st rounders aren't playing, so that may help us.

Joe is going to throw the ball for 10,000 yards in 2023. Too bad the wide receivers will only catch 1,000 of those yards.

Well, you certainly have a great history of spot-on predictions.

Def. not just another nega-vol who $hits on the program.

he will probably bring his whole staff with him from UCF. It will be Butch V2.0. Heupel was good with Frosts recruits and then has gone down hill since then.

To early to tell if I like White. Let's see how many stupid extensions he gives to Heupel and then I will vote.

totally agree, that list did nothing for me. it is sad UT has fallen so far that we can no longer pull in a top level coach.

One game won't do it for me. Anyone can have one of those days where it all clicks. Consistency is what will convince me.
looking ahead to a comment next December-
One season won't do it for me. Anyone can have one of those years where it all clicks.

I am very excited to see Joe throw it around at the Orange Bowl… win or lose it is going to be fun to watch.

It’s hard to say when we can know if JM has got it figured out or not.
Let’s say we beat Clemson in a bowl with JM, that’s not enough to know.
To beat Virginia isn’t nearly enough to know.
A win over Austin Peay won’t do it.
Florida in the swamp should do it, but a win over Florida means nothing these days.
UTSA nope.
South Carolina at home won’t tell us anything:
A&M is a joke so nothing there to help us know.
Alabama isn’t Alabama anymore so still let’s wait and see even after a win.
Kentucky, UConn or Mo? What’s the difference they won’t tell us anything.
Georgia at home not so much either, A QB playing at home isn’t a true test.
Vandy don’t count.
Even if JM were to lead us to an undefeated season and into the playoffs, based off our schedule he could still be unproven based off the scrubs on our schedule.
Maybe he can show us something in the playoffs that will prove he’s the guy.
Who will be the 1st to say a I told you so after a win?

I think I see part of his game performance problem!! Notice he can't be still (note fingers never seem to stop moving) He is too wound up!! Needs a "pill" (or a couple of belts of Jack Daniels) before the game to settle him down!
