I totally agree even better years are coming. I think there's work to do with our D but I'm loving watching this team work. You do realize that some teams get better as the year goes. Teams get better or worse they rarely stay the same. There are lots of variables, just because a team starts the season bad doesn’t mean they won’t be better later in the season. Teams have bad games and off nights. But Tennessee bounced back like the good teams do. And South Carolina has improved in the last month. The game isn’t perfect science that is what makes it fun. Look at 4-7 aggies beating LSU.Nobody can let their guard down in the SEC it’s a tough league. We are 10-2, we beat Bama,Florida and LSU in the same year. More good times coming in the future. Tennessee is going to be in the hunt from now on for awhile! GBO
So USC and TCU have neither ever been to the playoffs and both have a chance? Seems we get a new team every year.
Tell me again, why do we have to expand?
Yes, do you not see how an expanded playoff will give 5 star recruits more options instead of the traditional teams?
The traditional teams were getting 5* players before the playoff. A non traditional power (Texas A&M) just signed the best class in history without ever making a playoff.
It seems we don’t need to expand the playoffs to give recruits options
And it made Satan mad. How many times in the past 10 years has that scenario panned out? Not often enough!!
More playoff teams will expand the options kids have.
Actually, there's not several. There are only a few and they coach at elite programs because they've built those programs like Heupel is hopefully doing at UT. It's work.Don’t think that any one coach has the secret sauce. There are several….
Why? Because they’re 8-4 and beat two top ten teams. They will also be a top 25 team as we both state. How many teams can say the same? That isn’t awful. They lost to Arkansas, KY, Missouri and FL.
They'll only barely be ranked because they beat the hell out of TN and barely edged Clemson by 1 point, but we destroyed KY and Missouri.
Yeah, they're that awful.
Edit: your prediction of the score was:
TN 48
SCjr 24
You had us as 24 point favorites before the game but now you want to minimize the 25 point loss. Why,?

With your theory, why hasn't basketball achieved more parity? There's a huge tournament and LOTS of teams get in it, but mostly the same teams dominate and that's where the 5* guys go.
According to you, they should be going everywhere. They just don't.
Look at where the talent is. The 5* talent is at about 5 schools in basketball. Don't be silly.Since 2015, men’s basketball has had only 1 repeat champion (Villanova). Of the 28 spots (final fours - no tourney in 2020), 20 are filled with different teams… only 8 repeats. Yeah I’ll take that as a sign of parity.

If TCU should happen to win it all, do you REALLY think 5* athletes are going to say, "I should go there!" vs Bama, GA, Ohio State, and whatever aTm can buy?
If there was better coaching, more teams would work their way up in the rankings.Yeah if a 5 star guy is from Dallas, Houston, or Austin. Why not?
Football. Since 2015…. 32 teams with only 12 new, all others are repeaters. Bama with 3 titles and 3 runner ups. Clemson with 2 titles and 2 runner ups.
Why do you think doing the same thing year after year adds to the sport? There is a bias aspect to football as well just because they can’t play unlimited games.
