Of the current commits, or expected commits (i.e. Mosley and Malone), which players are expected to have the most immediate impact next year. Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.

Hurd and Malone will be the 2 with the most impact IMO.

I think Kelly and Bates will do some good things as well.

Hurd, Gaulden, Wharton (kick and punt return), Weathered, Williams, Blair, Lambert, Pearson, and Malone if he commits.

JUCO Lambert is likely a day 1 starter at SDE.

JUCO Weatherd is likely a day 1 starter at SLB.

FR Gaulden could see some time at nickel but, if Riyahd Jones and Mike Williams are healthy I see one of them taking Coleman's spot and Coleman moving to Nickel. Other provides depth.

I think Pearson will see more time than Malone would. With Malone as a FR, there is no reason to not RS him given UT will have:

North/Croom/Howard/Johnson/Pearson/Young.

Hurd could see a lot of work. Lane will likely be the undisputed #1 but I don't think the staff will overwork Lane.

Blair and Lambert definitely. I expect them to start from day1. Also some mix of the LBs - Weathered, Johnson, Bates. Also either McDowell or Kelly at safety. Definitely Malone and possibly Pearson at WR. Hurd will share time with Lane, but will have an impact. Wharton on special teams. We might even see one of CBs have an impact opposite Sutton or in nickel - Payne, although Riyahd Jones may be the one at CB. When all is said and done, I think over 20 players from this class will see significant action.

I like your list, but I just don't see how you could sit Malone. In a perfect world, yes. But not with our roster.

I'm not saying he'd outright sit I just don't think he'd do enough to usurp the current WRs.

Not to mention 4* Drae Bowles (same year as Croom/Howard) or 4* Ryan Jenkins (same year as North) could have a tremendous off-season and see time.

He could, though. He's enormously gifted. If he does, that just shows how good he is.

I think we will see a completely different field next year. I, for some reason, have a good feeling about Paul Harris and Ryan Jenkins contributing significantly next year. Kelly and Mcdowell will likely compete for spots with coleman and mcneill.

Has anyone thought that maybe CBJ wants to redshirt Hurd and have one of the other backs step up like Smith, Hill, or even Pickett? Not saying Hurd won't play but redshirting him might make some sense.

No order.
Medley, Hurd, Malone, Wharton IMHO will contribute the most to next year's success.

Redshirt Malone???

We are in NO shape from a roster standpoint to be redshirting 5*, top 20 talent!
