Impending Prospect Commitment Predictions....

Regardless, my point remains the same regarding our ability to recruit a top level QB. Whether we are "elite" or just a high level quality program, there are a multitude of reasons we shouldnt be having so much trouble attracting QB's. Again, I dont care to have to appear desperate to get a 4 star recruit to play for us. It is demeaning and just provides my AL and FL friends more fodder to poke at our team. Additionally, it is a bit bewildering considering the volume of positive reasons a QB would come here even when evaluating UT verses an "elite" program. Depth chart at top of the list just before competition quality then television exposure.

I realize Tajh Boyd ended up being medical red shirt so we didnt lose much there in the end but, even Fulmer had managed a 5 star prospect after a losing season and the installation of an entirely new spread offense rather unsuccessfully to that point.

I'm going with Sab in this one...

If his list turns out right (Scroggins, Bailey, Ambles, Milton, Riley) then I will s*** myself and never doubt this staff ever (I'm almost but not quite to the no doubt stage with this staff on recruiting)

Honestly, he kinda looks like he might actually kill someone on the football field. Bet he hits like a freight train. Can't wait to watch him tear it up in orange.

Have you seen Copeland? They're basically clones...

I honestly believe they will rip someone's head off at least once a piece in their career's at UT

Jesse Scroggins - USC
Dion Bailey USC - USC
Markeith Ambles - UT
Chase Rettig - UT
Matt Milton -UT
Dietrich Riley - UT
Prince Shembo - ND
Richard Ash - USC
Cassius Marsh - Cal
Barry Brunetti -WVU

But here is mine. I am going back and forth about JS. Bailey follows JS imo, so those go together. I think Burnetti wavers, but stays put.

that's a nice list you got there..:p

I think I've seen it before.

So, basically, the only thing different you'll be doing is not doubting the staff.

In terms of total defense, UT was tied with Bama as the #1 defense in the SEC and the #3 defense in the nation behind only USC and TCU...

It would have been amazing to have seen the numbers the Defense would have put up if they were not on the field as much as they were or in the situations the offense put them in.

Actually, I think the reason the numbers were so high is because they were on the field so much and that's also what helped them to be even better... they had a LOT of practice ;)

What's odd is that despite those numbers, we were only 10th in the SEC in sacks and opponents' 3rd down conversion percentage...

That's why they are called predictions. :hi:

You guys are probably more knowledgeable than most which is why those folks saying things like:

I am pi$$ed

Coached dropped the ball on this one

We keep coming in 2nd

Coached wish they had kept Boyd

Etc… etc…. etc….

Those folks are showing their ignorance. Those folks know diddly squat about what the coaches are thinking and doing. Unless you are in the inner circle, it is all just a guess.

It's also something that I have kept saying and will continue to say.....

Until recruits see the offense we are going to run and see us playing with heart, it's going to be tough to pull in higher profile players. It's just the way things work.
