Its apparent now as it was then... talent trumps coaching 99.9% of the time. And right now, UGA has it in spades. Theres not much we could do against your studs. UGA is simply the better, more talent team. Hopefully, we can recruit better and give you a better game i. The future. Congrats.

This game wasn’t won by Georgia on Saturday. It was won over the past 4 recruiting cycles. UGA has a semi pro roster right now and when they play at a high level before a raucous home crowd, they are unbeatable.
For UT to get to that level, we’ve got to start winning more recruiting battles for some more 5 star and high 4 stars.
To do that, our coaching staff, administrators, donors, and Knoxville & Tennessee business leaders/NIL must all row in the same direction. Here’s hoping that they will. Go Vols!

Bama had a similar roster. As far as the 4 and 5 star players go. It was just the perfect storm. UGA felt disrespected and played pissed off. The crowd was louder than expected and we didn't handle that well. Every game is a game within itself. The next time it will be different. Whether it's a couple months from now or next year in Neyland. Kirby probably didn't run it up for that reason alone. UGA got every break in that game and had everything possible in their favor. They pretty much had it won by the third TD at the start of the second quarter. That shat won't happen again.

I agree we had our butt handed to us sat. and I want to comment on the QB situation.Bennett is a fiesty little cuss and played well sat.I just wonder if yall think he would have played as well if he were playing on our side and Hooker were on Ga. side.I think not,he would not endure the pressure from Carter and co. and could not run as well either. He fits well into that offense and has a great OL and skill players,especially TE where he has the 2 top TE,s in the country.Quite a luxury for a short of stature QB.Hope we get to play you guys again this season and maybe we can make it more interesting.View attachment 511818

He has earned his spot at GA and I’m with him win or lose, but can you imagine what last years or this years GA team would be like with Hendon Hooker or Bryce Young under center? I’m impressed that I haven’t read many unrealistic excuses since the game. That shows much class. I can’t say many forums would show this in abundance considering the pre-game expectations. I hope my home team forum would exhibit the same class.

Also, I gotta say the CFB fan in me can’t wait for the potential rematch. The GA fan in me would be ok if it never happens. Hooker isn’t likely to have that same game in a rematch. Thanks again for the hospitality you folks have afforded a Dirty Dawg.

All we can say is we was outplayed .ga has a game plan and executed it .

Georgia is years ahead of us in recruiting and y'all's talent showed. GA was by far the better team . If we make the playoffs I hope we are a 3 seed.

We do that to all the interlopers. Just treating them like we treat each other. Want em to feel right at home. Tough loss for our VOLS, your dawgs are solid for sure. We just got whipped in all phases. Not our best effort, but GA had a whole lot to do with that.

I just dont trust the ability of teams outside the SEC. Obvious exceptions, of course. Oregon is on a roll but I dont think they are a good match up for the top 4 or 5 teams in the SEC.
