I know we have a good shot at beating Bama if we meet them in the SECCG, but they are still Bama much to my dismay. You guys benefited from playing them at home, much like we benefited playing you guys in Athens. Hopefully they don’t make it bc they are always tough.

I agree, I think TCU falters down the stretch. Not sure about UM and tOSU, but one has to lose. In any event, Bama having two losses helps. I think a 1 loss TN gets in, and I don’t see you guys losing again.

I have to admit though, Oregon is a much different team than the team we played on Sept. 3. I’m not sure if it’s playing lesser competition or if they have dramatically improved. What say you Volnation?

Bo Nix is not beating good SEC teams. He couldn't do it when he was playing QB in the conference and he can't do it playing at Oregon.

Thanks for allowing me to participate, you guys have showed class on this forum. Except for they few of you that told me to GTFO before the game even started! Kidding, it’s understandable. I’m not fond of trolls either and it’s easy to be mistaken for one.

I’m impressed that I haven’t read many unrealistic excuses since the game. That shows much class. I can’t say many forums would show this in abundance considering the pre-game expectations. I hope my home team forum would exhibit the same class.

Also, I gotta say the CFB fan in me can’t wait for the potential rematch. The GA fan in me would be ok if it never happens. Hooker isn’t likely to have that same game in a rematch. Thanks again for the hospitality you folks have afforded a Dirty Dawg.

I do love Bennet, and he has earned a spot in all GA fans hearts. He is a baller, and has worked his butt off into a pretty good and smart college QB.

That being said, no he doesn’t possess the natural talent of Hooker, Young, Nix, Drake Maye, or Stroud. And it’s not close. He has earned his spot at GA and I’m with him win or lose, but can you imagine what last years or this years GA team would be like with Hendon Hooker or Bryce Young under center? It could potentially be very scary.

The thing about Bennet for me… I want to like his story the way I did Kyle Trasks, but he’s just not a likable guy. I don’t care for the way he carries himself. He comes across pretentious af.

I’m not really crazy about the way he usually gives a what the heck face when a receiver drops a ball that they should have caught. I’m sure it’s probably just the competitor in him, but I’ve never seen one of our receivers do the same when he misses them badly.

I’ve noticed that but also notice how he tends to celebrate a play on his own. Whereas Hooker always props his teammates up. Maybe I’m biased and maybe Bennett has a himself against the world mentality which I could understand. Idk, to me he just doesn’t appear to be the most humble guy.

JG did this a lot when he played for TN and I hated it lol.
