Size. If we can big as long as possible without losing speed, that’d be ideal. Ya know, typical Bama/uga defense.

Totally different styles of defense. They both run a base 3-4 defense (Not sure what Bama will run now). We run a base 4-2-5 defense. Our EDGEs would be OLBs for them. A lot of our DTs would be DEs for them. There's a reason that very few teams are successful running a 3-4 style at the collegiate level. It requires recruiting the most elite athletes (A bunch with size and speed) consistently to do it at a championship level.

Bama hasn’t been elite on defense since 2020.
UGA is still up there, but our defense from a talent standpoint isn’t that far from Alabama’S

Bama has still had elite pieces in the secondary. The area that we've lacked in the most, but I agree that our talent has been upgraded significantly.

Also worth saying kid hasn’t played football in a year. With that being said, I’m really looking forward to seeing him play this year when he comes to Nashville
