but, but guys, apparently its not the coaching, I got flamed for that, the only problem is apparently we are just slow as molasses, so if we get speed, we will be fine.

Chill. We have the number 2 recruiting class in November from the best staff in America.

It's like Village of the Damned around here. That's all the pollyannas know how to say.

You dip sh!ts were saying CBJ was the second coming of the General when we beat SC. Now you idiots want to fire him! The numbers being put up against our D have nothing to do with the teams we've been playing? How many top 10 team have we played this season? Its CBJ's fault our talent level is where it's at oh and never mind the attrition and injuries to key players when we don't have depth AT ANY POSITION!

Last I checked, Butch wasn't the DC

We talkin bout Jancek

His post wasn't stupid... yours... true to form... is.

Ah yes. The doofus that blew his load before the season blabbing on how well we should do and then started some thread after the USC or UGA game telling us all that we aren't lacking talent.

Keep up the rant so your points don't look so stupid.

Who said that? Who is the idiot? I'd suggest it is the one making the claim that someone wanted Jones fired when no one has.

Sure. Now go take a look at how less talented teams have performed against those O's.

How many top 10 team have we played this season?
Oh, I see. It is OK to play horribly below your talent level and worse than less talented teams if you play good competition.

Its CBJ's fault our talent level is where it's at oh and never mind the attrition and injuries to key players when we don't have depth AT ANY POSITION!
Only partly. You can search my posts. Many gave Jones a pass after last year's recruiting class whiffed on a quality RB along with some other positions of need. That class was much bigger than most realize to his ability to survive at UT. He's behind the 8 ball and MUST have TRULY the best defensive "staff in America".

Do you realize it when you lie or does it just come that natural to you?

The claim that I said the team isn't "lacking talent" is an abject lie. I have consistently said there were problems in the roster but talent that could be use too.

I said this was a 7 win roster if Jones was the right coach. I said six wins would prove no more than Dooley proved in his first year... and 5 would strongly suggest that he's not the right guy. I have not changed my mind.

Where did I say "how well we would do"? I said UF, UGA, USCe, and MU were beatable. They were... and yes even Mizzou. I said Auburn was more talented than most thought... they are. I acknowledged that Oregon and Bama weren't likely to be very pleasant games for UT.

Keep up the rant so your points don't look so stupid.
A liar calling someone stupid... that's nice.

Wow. A 7 win team if he was the right coach. Obviously not meeting that proves your point. Or that you just don't know what you are talking about. I will go with the latter.

An idiot calling someone ....never mind.

Back off - best staff in America.

Truthfully, you have to really try hard to be that bad on D two years in a row. It takes a collective team effort to stand around, take bad angles, be unable to recognize where the ball is going, design bad schemes, play the wrong players, etc.

Play the wrong players? We have who we have. How can they play anyone different? The common denominator is the players.

Same argument could have been made in favor of giving Sunseri and Dooley another year.

This is total BS! Dooley had NFL talent on offense. If we had this year's defense last year, then we probably win 2-3 more games last year. Not even close to being true.

There' plenty of threads calling for CBJ's head just click on just about any thread in the FF .List the "less talented teams" you speak of Oregon,Bama Mizzou they all have made good teams look bad not just us. And no it's not OK to play horribly below your talent level I think our play has fell in line with our talent level. For the most part we've started strong in game's then the level of intensity falls off because of lack of depth. There were a lot of CDD's recruits CBJ had to hold onto so giving him a "pass" was a given. A lot of negavols are calling for someone to be fired 3/4 thru the season I think doing that would cause more harm than good. We need 3 things and there really isn't any debating it Stability' More talent and depth.

It's pretty simple guys, Dooley recruited and beefed up the LB's and DB's. He said it once in an interview he wants big tough LB's and DB's. He gave up speed for bulk and conditioned them for it each year. It'll take a few years to fix that.

Not hardly

Butch may be good, but the proof is how long will he stick with underperforming assistants.

He's either going to sink or swim and right now the boat is full of holes

Man I'm glad we did not play Johnny Football. He would have a field day on our D.

Mark Richt fired him. That's all i need to know..

Not only that, Jancek is one of only two assistants that Richt has fired in his entire GA tenure.

The other is Martinez.

Both coach at UT.

Are they part of the greatest staff in America, or is it the greatest staff in America in spite of these two clowns?

You need to follow the point more carefully.

I didn't say the argument was valid in either case... in fact, I don't think it is.

Mizzou IS less talented than UT right now. They are performing WAY above the sum of their talent... that's what really good coaches give you.

I think many here underestimated Aub. The score should not have been that lopsided but they are more talented.
