You somehow managed to miss every point I made. I also don't see how I was ever "proven" wrong. The fact is, Addai has proven nothing up to this point. He hasn't proven he is a good NFL back and he hasn't proven he's an average or awful back, either. He may have been impressive at the combine, but everyone knows that doesn't always translate to NFL success. My point is that I didn't see anything in college that led me to believe that Addai is the kind of back that is worth a first round draft pick. As for me being hard-headed, I never would have acted that way had you not stated that I didn't "have a clue". So, I question Addai's ability, and you question my knowledge and then insult me. And you think that makes me the tool. Your logic is incredibly flawed.

Sorry for pointing out that you didn't have a clue.... but you have to admit, you really didn't. Talking about how it was some end around play that Addai scored on, then that he didn't do much after that one run... I mean, honestly, you were just guessing.

You're right... Addai hasn't yet proved he was worthy of a first round pick... but neither has Vince Young. But I would guess Addai does have a lot more proving to do than Young does. I sure hope he can ease the pain of losing Edge. That's what it all boils down to for me.

OK. So I was wrong about the specifics of one play in Joseph Addai's 4 year career. I suppose that means I don't have a clue about his entire college career. I guess since that play wasn't an end around that Addai will be the next Walter Payton.

Haha... now you're getting it. No, he won't be the next Walter Payton.

You know... Tennessee is winning 17-7 against Florida! I don't care about Addai! GO VOLS!

Colts- 43
Texans- 24

Colts (2-0) jumped up 30-3 in the 3rd quarter... the scrubs let Houston score a few TDs.

Our boy Peyton Manning was lights out. 26-for-38, 400 yds, 3 TD

Reggie Wayne: 6 catches, 135 yds
Marvin Harrison: 7 catches, 127 yds

Joseph Addai: 16 car., 82 yds

If Indy fails to find a running game, Jaxonville probably will win the AFC South. Write off Tennessee and Houston. Y'all probably won't suffocate Peyton and the Indy passing game, but you probably will stop them enough to win.

That is, unless Indy gets their run game going.

So, IMO this game rests on the shoulders of Addai. If he gets more than 100 yards, Indy wins.

If jax plays D like they did monday night...could be a long day for Peytong and co.

however, Jax's offense is going to need more than 9 points. Slowing the Colts is all together different than slowing down the Steelers.

and i think there may be a bit of an emotional let down...they were hyped up for Monday nihgt...be difficult to duplicate that performance..

It could also be said that the Jags won't be facing as good of a defense this week as they did on Monday. That should help them at least put a touchdown on the board.

Jacksonville came pretty close to knocking Indy off twice last year when the Colts running game was significantly better... I think the Jags get it done this time around. Jags by 10.

What, now you're jumping on the "Jags by 10" bandwagon? Fraud.

Indy finds a running game and wins by one TD or less.

Perhaps :p

Just don't think the Colts are gonna find that running game against the Jaguars. Jacksonville is ready to knock off the Colts.

Colts are just so used to beating the Jags that I don't even think it will be that close. Addai won't rush for over 100 yards... but Colts will win this ballgame.

Either way. Two teams I am completely neutral for, both have a lot to prove. Indy needs to win a Super Bowl, Jax needs to go deep in the playoffs.

neither...go steelers.

the only way i pull for either is if the Steelers aren't in it at the end...

Colts- 21
Jags- 14

Colts are now 3-0. They played a tough game against the Jags, who are probably the 3rd best team in the AFC (to the Colts and Bengals).

Colts have established themselves with the rest of the NFL as the best team in the AFC... and I would say the favorite to win the Super Bowl.

Hold your horses. I didn't get to see the game today, but it looked like their victory margin was a punt return TD. Otherwise, that game is tied. That offense is going to have to put up more than 14 points if they can't run the ball and control the clock. That's just my opinion. But hey, if they keep winning, who am I to judge? Still, that running game needs to get better before I pick them to make a deep playoff run.

Okay, you obviously just have to disagree with me on everything I say. You didn't even see the game. The victory margin was a TD... not a punt return TD. Yes, there was a punt return TD... but if they wouldn't have done that, they still would've had possession of the ball with a chance to drive down the field and score. So that's not really a valid arguement.

Since you didn't see the game... Peyton Manning struggled in the first half... but he came out in the 2nd with a better gameplan and more focused. He played very well in the second half... ran for a TD and threw for a TD. The play of Peyton Manning was the victory margin.

Yes, the running game will need to get better. But Jacksonville is a team that just beat the defending World Champs 9-0 last week... holding them to just 26 yards rushing. The Colts rushed for 63 yards against the Jags. As long as they keep winning, I don't think the lack of a running game will matter.

Colts: 3-0
