Lawyers probably got a third. Sandman got a helluva lot more than had he not lawyered up. Those lawyers were worth every penny. They treated CNN and every other news outlet and talking head that attacked this kid like a Little Debbie snack cake. Devoured them in a single bite. Eviscerated them and they deserved it.

Deserved it? Absolutely. Will this be a deterrent to not do it again? Not at all. They need to lose advertisers as a result of knee jerk reporting for the behavior to change.

Very true. More than anything, they ALL need to get back to real reporting and stop the narrative pushing. I never watch these cable outlets anymore. I read, then read some more and try to wait for the facts to emerge little by little. The first version of events is usually off by a lot.
