I'm glad I have a trusted tortilla dealer who comes to me. Street purchases are sketchy.

I hear some dealers are cutting the product into fourths, frying it, adding salt and selling it in the inner cities.
my last apartment had a very large latino population. we did have some door to door food sales people. there was the tamale lady, and the taco, in an ice cream cart, guy.

tacos were 1 for $1, 2 for $1.50, 4 for $3. they were always very good, but the other items he sold never tasted too good.

Here is a real eye opener. The cost to maintain the most valuable asset most family’s own increased by 26% on average since the pandemic. This is excluding the mortgage payments.
