Thanks to govols2008 for the idea. Please reply with any updates you don't see here and I will make changes accordingly. This is for official updates from the UT Staff. No here-say please.

Corey Vereen - DE - August 9th. Torn meniscus required surgery. Out 5-6 weeks. Potential return for Oregon.

Jacques Smith - DE - August 8th. Fractured right thumb requiring surgery. Out 4-6 weeks. Hopeful Austin Peay return. Should be back by Oregon.

Mo Couch - DT - August 10. Right calf strain. No contact 1-2 weeks. Off of crutches and walking in boot. Day to day for return to practice.

Can MODS please give you power to delete posts that have nothing to do with the thread title and that do not give any updates?

Wish we could get a sticky but here. Maggitt is hurt but expected to be ready by game day. Vereen is out 6 weeks. Jacques is out 5 weeks. R Jones looks to be out for season. Couch is day by day.

Does R. Jones have 3 years to play 2, or 2 years to play 2?

Wonder what Jones's timetable is?

Still could be a bone break, dislocation, or a handful of other options. But the fact it's not his knee is almost definitely good news. We will see what Butch says today and start talking time tables.
