I love this guy! What an example of a young man that took a horrible event and has really persevered through it all. He didn't lay down and quit. I am also proud of how the University and the football program have continued to support him and keep him involved as part of the Tennessee Family.

One part of his talk really hits home for me: when he urges the current players to think about how blessed they are because there are countless others out there that would give just about anything to be talented enough to do what they are doing. I know that I always dreamed of being good enough to run through the T on a gameday Saturday in Knoxville. I'd have given just about anything to make that wish come true. Of course, that wasn't meant to be, but I have truly been blessed in so many other ways that I can't even comprehend it all.

Thanks, Inky, for setting a great example for the current team and for anyone else who is smart enough to pay attention. A true Vol For Life!

dooley had this policy that if you played for UT that you had to have your congressman and senator write letters of recommendations on your behalf.

Then after those were filled out and 90 days had gone by then the football 'coach' while wearing the orange satin pants might deem you worthy.

After watching that video I wouldve gone out there and done the Oklahoma drill with big Dan.
That was amazing, that is something I will show my youth teams for years to come

Very inspirational! I hope it really sunk in with those young men. They are doing something most of us could only dream of. Inky is the definition of VFL! GBO

I remember being at the game where he was injured..just praying that he made it through... He was a young player with so much promise and passion when he played. He was a player that gave his 100% every play-- no plays off. He is such an inspiration to our team and really anyone- athlete or not-- His spirit and desire to do God's will is the reason that he has a peace about his injury. Just love him!

They should watch this before every game. Every game in the event it did go in on ear and out of the other. Every game to work as a reminder of what it means to play at a place like Tennessee.so pumped right now.

Why is Inky not employed by our Athletics Dept? This guy should have a position on the football staff making at least 6 figures. Shame on Hart and CBJ if they do not give him a job ( if he wants one )

Inky spoke at my son's school yesterday. Was a very inspiring moment for the kids, took a picture with my boy and took a few minutes to talk to him was pretty cool.

WOW! That man needs to be involved with the lives of the athletes at Tennessee. Not just football but in the athletic department somewhere. Great motivator!!!

I have had the pleasure of meeting Inky. No one embodies VFL like he does.. I hope those players absorb just a little of what he has. If they do, this will be a good year!
