Derek Dooley done nothing but ride coattails... I never had any faith in him and still can't believe he was ever hired at UT.

It's amazing. All you gotta do is make something up about Dooley and you guys take it as true, embellish it a bit more, and then say it's the gospel. I am glad he's gone and Butch is here but not everything is Dooley's fault. Give it a rest.

Nobody "heard" VFL from Inky Johnson, he lives it.

I laughed because I don't think Dooley will ever be a major programs coach again. I don't know any A.D. would risk being fired by hiring Dooley.

Dooley needs to go back to a smaller college program ie. Ball State, Furman, Toledo, Akron....... because other programs are out of his league.

if Wilcox and company had of gotten some extensions and stayed,it might have been different,oh and didn't Sal get a good deal when he came here ?

i think Dooley might come back to the college game and do fairly well,but who knows

Actually if you are talking about wins overall, yes Dooley does have a better record. If you are talking about winning percentage they have exactly the same 41.6%. Dooley got fired before the last game in 2012 and that win belongs to Jim Chaney who was interim head coach.

Dooley was 15-21 overall
Butch is 5-7 overall

Come back in 2 years and we'll see where things stand.
