Interesting Statistics

The one they were talking about during the healthcare summit.

I didn't get a chance to watch the summit. The only thing I know of that even addresses tort reform at this point is the Senate bill. It simply gives a one time 5 year grant to states to find alternatives to the system we have now. It doesn't really change anything. In addition, preference of the grants will be given to the states that demonstrate that such reforms will reduce medical errors, improve patient safety, and improve doctor's access to liability insurance. If those are the goals of the tort reform they want, well that is not tort reform at all - that is the aim of the current tort liability law which has caused the defensive medicine in the first place. On the other hand, I haven't thought enough about tort reform to even suggest that I could come up with a better alternative. (Volinbham, if you are reading this, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the issue).

Oh, I admit I have no idea what each thing in the bill does. I just know tort reform was suggested by repubs but the dems didn't think it was enough and more action was needed.
It was a nice talking point for both sides, lol

I didn't make anything up. You are one delusional fellow if you think I need your affirmation for anything. There was no making up anything. And I didn't look anything up on Wikipedia.

PM me and we will discuss it in more detail.

One last question....Do you think I care what your opinion is of me???

What are you, 25???

Awesome, you are 55-60 and.....
