I think Florida is playing as good as anyone right now. I am going to be a , “gulp”, gator fan this weekend 😂🤣😂. Seriously I think they have a good chance to beat them.
I’m right there with you. I also want A&M to beat Texas because they have no business making it to Atlanta by playing only one team that’s in the conversation, and losing. If they do make it, I hope Alabama absolutely boat races them and I don’t even really feel gross saying it for some reason.

I don’t even care what it means for us, I feel that strongly about them learning that it’s different here.

Look who’s damn near last and has a loss to NIU. Every year they put those guys in, they get stomped and we do the crap all over again. Committee should treat Notre dame like any other nobody team with a cupcake schedule
Notre Dame can’t get over the hump in the playoffs. They haven’t in years. Why even put them in right now? Not even in a conference, and no conference championship game either. They haven’t won nothing since Rudy was on the team. 😂😂😂

Yep, once again, they put together a committee that works with heartstrings versus actual facts, including strength of schedule. I am a pretty smart guy, but for the life of me, I have no idea how we can fix this problem. College football is too important to the nation, literally, to accept this level of incompetency.
Id like to think there will be nothing to fix and they're just projecting these picks to stir up controversy and get attention......ultimately doing the right thing and the best teams play. But I'm also a realist and know UM AD is under the gun by NCAA (who was just embarrassed in court by Tennessee) AND the board is primarily NE/B1G Homer's.........

So in reality I think eventually it will work itself out. We know these conferences and Disney love their $$$. And when they trot out these "Cinderella" teams out there round 1 who promptly get beaten down like rented mules which = fans not traveling and/or saving money to buy 2nd round tickets AND viewers turning the channel at halftime......$$$$/sponsors will drop and they'll adjust.

Absolutely 100 % agree. Oklahoma got the short end of the stick and Texas ain’t beat nobody 😂.

As Kirby said this week, they value two columns, one with a W and one with an L. They’re not watching who they’re playing, where they’re playing etc. Kirby is subtly lobbying for us and all other SEC teams in the discussion.

One thing about Lane is that he is inconsistent. He is consistently inconsistent. Florida ain’t no joke. They gonna be chomped.
Napier has been coaching better as well, after our game was played. His coaching staff has been calling better as well. If Ole Miss thinks that they are just going to walk into the swamp, and watch Florida lay over and play dead, they’ve got another thing coming. It could be that Ole Miss may be to high over their heads, after beating Georgia.

Pull out of the CFP and form a super conference and add Clemson, UNC, FSU etc and play a National Championship with the picks coming from a computer. Dumping that was a grave mistake and giving it to a bunch men was a terrible idea.

The committee might be the headline media group but Sankey is still the most powerful college football guy in the country. He has the best conference, biggest group of fans, and best tv rated teams. If he doesn’t get close to what he wants, he will take his ”league and ball” to greener pastures after this 2 year contract is up.

We can’t have Texas winning this conference their first year here.

Jeff Sagarin does not like Tennessee he has always rated us poorly. He talks about the metrics he uses to make it sound fair but he has a component that he adds in that is just his opinion so once he applies that he puts people where he wants them and has totally strayed from the metrics. Look at where he has Indiana.....seriously.
