I'll feel a bit better about Hubbs when they get him on campus for a visit. That hasn't happened yet.

As for the guy on VQ, that's CNewman - a walk-on during the Kevin O'Neill days. I provide that info, not to disparage the poster nor insinuate his info isn't solid - just to give perspective on the phrase "former player".

Further info on chad Newman....I'm not positive he still but I think he is the senior associate athletic trainer for the men's team.

Different CNewman. This guy's a dentist in Nashville. Also, Chad Newman wouldn't have a job very long if he posted on message boards.

I don't want to get my hopes up too much because this isn't confirmed, and even if it's true, both guys could always change their mind.

That said, I already feel pretty good about Coach Martin, and if he does land both these guys, my confidence in him would skyrocket.

These types of rumors make the offseason fun.

If true, than amazing job by Martin & co! Also, maybe that reads into the whole Webster promotion thing. Kind of dumb to reward a guy without anything official but it would be very close to being a top 10 class and that's remarkable with the luck we've had and the average at best season we had last year.

Rumor I'm hearing is that Jw3 is looking to visit Tennessee. If UK doesn't offer then there is a very good chance that he could end up at Tennessee. To add to that, supposedly the class Tennessee staff really is eyeing is hubbs, Nichols and jw3.

That would be ridiculous.

Tell me how you really feel? Haha

He obviously really wants to go to UK, but maybe we hope cal lands some good post guys or they return this years. Kind of a we benefit from their recruiting success.

I'll gladly take it though. A front court of stokes, Nichols, jw3 is scary....Memphis boys getting it done, I can see it now!

And where is this "good chance he will be a Vol" talk coming from? Rob Lewis?

Georgetown has been leading for this kid for a long time, w/ Kentucky a semi-distant second until they start to show more interest.

Lewis seems to be completely writing-off the Hoyas.

Well...this is sure to get interesting. Either way, if UT somehow lands this kid then Bentley style points for Coach Martin.

Well I choose to not believe you, and believe Lewis along with 3 other people involved wih the program who all separately said the same thing.

I don't really expect him to End up at UT, but if things were to fall in place it could happen, they're apparently solidly in his top 3. And with word that he's planning on visiting anything can happen.
