Uh, Lewis' info wasn't wrong and he wasn't wrong in terms of Jackson or Black, either. Like I said, as far as accurate information about UT and recruiting, that site has been far and away the best, which is why it gets my money. I don't know the guy, nor am I some shill for them, I just know that the quality is good.

Why does that matter? Finishing 2nd in recruiting is no better than finishing 330th.

The argument was whether or not we were "in the hunt" for them not how we finished. And for the most part we were in the hunt, hunting in 2nd place, but still relevant in the process.

"Being in the hunt" means being a finalist in a guys recruitment, which we were in both of those cases.
Yeah, the same way Wade Houston was "in the hunt" for Corliss Williamson and Glenn Robinson.

No, kinda the way you are "in the hunt" for being the most annoying/negative/arrogant/ poster on volnation.

Which is better than being you and being a leading candidate for most ignorant/naive/clueless poster on VN. I win, you lose.

Joe Jackson was never going to UT. I don't care how you spin it, they were simply not in the hunt for him.

This staff would have had a better chance trying to sign "Shoeless Joe. "

Please. No one on this forum has less credibility than you.

You are a joke. You have offered commentary on nothing. You have also predicted nothing.

You may be able to get a job from Hat pushing papers around and making sure the liquor cabinet in the office is full though.

Hatvol has a small but hardy band of defenders, and none of them predicted total losses for TN this season, which games TN would win or lose, whether certain players would develop or not etc.

There are people sitting around reading a discussion about TN basketball saying "fail, idiot etc" and not talking about the game at all. It is sad.

To be fair, Memphis could have rehired the Tic Price led Idiot Brigade as its staff and Jackson was still going to Memphis.

I want to believe you... But that goes against everything Rob Lewis said.

You can't be a fan of UT athletics if you don't listen to Lewis.

First. I have offered plenty of commentary on this board on almost every aspect of Tennessee basketball. And you're right, I haven't made predictions on where our recruits will end up because I can admit that there are lots of people on this board that know more about recruiting than I do, and I don't get off to seeing how many ludicrous threads I can start. But, congratulations on all of your prognostications; the only trouble is that none of them have turned out correct, and you have continuously looked like a dumbass. Keep up the good work.

I guess if you would start writing threads of 5-6 paragraphs each, then maybe your contributions would be meaningful. However, since you usually hold them to one paragraph and several sentences, you will just have to sit around and watch the big boys like MHFool have all the fun. Oh well.

Don't forget the word tool. Very fitting.

Uh, no Lewis didn't. Seriously, do some of you just believe anything hat says? Seriously, if I want to be informed about what's really going on, I know where my money is going.

I was definitely wrong on the timing of the Harris signing. I admitted that. Why don't you let me know what else I predicted that is wrong? Quote some predictions I have made about basketball that are wrong...I have made some detailed predictions on basketball, and so far none of them are wrong.

I will try to make sure to "turn out correct" more often.

You have a long list of ludicrous posts on here that I'm not going to recite because I and everyone else that reads the board with regularity already know them. I'll just say that the latest one about how the SEC really looking up this year in bball is equal in idiocy to most of your other garbage that you have posted on here in the past.

The SEC has the opportunity to be vastly improved over where it was last year.

Lots of teams have good OOC opportunities within the conference in the next 30 days.

Pointing out early season stumbles by Alabama (who seem to always have them even in their best years), a close win by UK, and losses by UGA, Auburn and Arkansas (with 5 guys suspended) is not messing up my prediction.

If MS State gets hot, or Arkansas gets back the suspended players and does okay, or Alabama finally does something it just adds 1 more team to the guys I talked about.

Ole Miss, Florida, Vanderbilt. South Carolina is iffy to me, but possibly can do well. LSU same boat.

5 SEC teams I believe at least will make the tournament. Are you saying fewer will?

5 teams from the conference in the tournament will be a dramatic improvement over last year. I will take 5 or more, you get 4 or less...

It would be wonderful if you would occasionally be correct about something. Why don't you share all your predictions that are correct, rather than asking someone else to do it for you. I can't think of any meaniful predictions you have correct. We can all say this will be a good season in basketball and feel confident we will be correct---how good, it remains to be seen. Share some of your correct predictions---PLEASE!:mf_surrender:
