I no longer go to a Baptist church, and I do miss the feasts that were had after every major event where all the old ladies would bring in casseroles of every type and everybody else brought fried chicken.

Now? We just have finger foods. Lacking I tell you.

Older ladies know how to fry chicken, just sayin'! You need to look around!

And I am still searching for the fried chicken casserole recipe, the perfect Baptist food.

This is one of the drawbacks of a big church, we have a chef and his staff that fix the meals...they are good, but will never replace granny
