Isn't most of Waze in Google Maps since they bought them awhile ago?

I've never tried waze. Maybe they just brought over the traffic and other aspects?

Tried Waze. It was OK but it was kinda slack on notifying me when turn. It didn't tell me until I hit right on the street and only notified a mile out. I like Apple maps because it has every upcoming street labeled and counts down to feet. It lacks in giving the best route sometimes though. Other than street labels Google is usually good.

Just picked up iPhone 6 for my wife. 2 questions:

1. Is the software update already out there necessary.

2. Do I need the $100 apple care or equivalent.

Update probably isn't necessary but if you don't jailbreak I don't see why not. Apple care might be good if you're destructive. You get a year warranty that covers pretty anything else and Apple is good about taking care of stuff.

I was destined not to get a 6, today

went to the Walker Springs Sam's at 6:30, for when they opened to get a 6, for $100 bucks off
Got in line, about 35 people were there...Guy comes around and gives me a card for a 128 IPhone 6...so I'm thinking this going to go smooth...about 6:45 another lady walks by scheduling appointments, says the first available was at 4:30 that afternoon...I told her I was only in Knoxville, until after lunch, could I just buy it, and I would go to Sam's next week when I'm back in Arkansas to activate it..She said no, they couldn't do that..So I turned the card in...

Went by Target, their system was down for everything but Verizon, and they only had the 16's....

Later in the morning I swung by the AT&T store, and all they had we're 16s...


Just looked at Apple's website, and they are giving a $50 dollar Itunes card, so I'm going to order from them

never had so much trouble trying to spend close to $400 bucks

yea, I had no idea..the Sam's deal required an appointment to be scheduled...

Maybe there will be a hot deal on Cyber Monday

I'm not dying to get one, but thought for $100 bucks off, I'll go ahead and pick one up.

Then after I got shutdown at Sam's I kind of had my mind made up to get one, so I checked a couple of other stores

I had to power cycle my iPad because it was acting funny then Movie Box stopped working. I gave up and went ahead and jailbroke it just for Movie Box.

Does the Pangu icon stay on there?

I left it but you can remove it. Open cydia and go to installed packages and find pangu loader for iOS. Then remove it.

Just got a G3, really like it, but the screen is a bit big for my tastes. It is a stretch to use the whole interface without moving my hand.
