read the First Amendment, very carefully, out loud and slowly if you must, but read it again.

Jefferson's letter to the Danbury Baptists had nothing to do with religion being taken completely out of the government sector.

While I do think that the Iraqi War was one of the bigger mishandlings in US Military history(by the leadership, not the troops), to call it a Crusade against Islam and Muslims is a stretch, to say the least.

Something tells me you would have a cared a great deal if Rumsfield had quoted pagan spells....or heaven forbid, Obama quoting the Qu'ran.

I disagree, given some of the Muslim Obama rhetoric I have seen around here. The sometimes proudly proclaimed right wing extremists around here heads would have exploded if this were Obama and the Rev Wrights quotes, or the Qu'ran.

...and I truly believe you wouldn't have cared. But you can't tell me this wouldn't have been an issue with some, if not most around here.

I'm agnostic, so I don't really give a damn one way or the other. Obama is an asshat regardless of his religious affiliation. His true church is the church of global socialism and his true Messiah is Saul Alinsky.

again, stop misinterpreting the First Amendment and stop misunderstanding what Jefferson was saying to the Danbury Baptists.
