I liked episode 1. that fight scene in the tower was just awful though, like they were just doing a practice run.

It wasn't great, but at the same time he was fighting security guards. He really didn't need to bust out his best stuff and every fight doesn't need to be a masterpiece. Plus the later fighting was better.

Honestly it was pretty good, yet even the bad reviews panned the first episode.

It just appeared like they were really concentrating on not hitting each other, very stiff movements. No they don't need to be a masterpiece, but it's Iron Fist the fight scenes need to be really really good. Plus Ward has Banshee on my mind and their fight scenes were maybe the best on TV. So that probably slanted my view some. Lol

I enjoyed it and the second episode, about to start the third.

The first 2 episodes were fine; so far not seeing what the big problem is. Maybe it comes off the rails soon, but so far it's better than Luke Cage.

Still haven't had a chance to start this yet but, on the topic of Banshee stars elsewhere, I about fell off the couch this weekend while watching the tourney and saw a Navy Federal Credit Union spot with Chayton in it. Was weird seeing him with a whole face.

As I said already, haven't seen it yet so at this point I'm just regurgitating what I read but that was one of the most common criticisms I saw. A) this is IF so the fights should be amazing and B) DD set the bar pretty high on that front so taking a big step down from that is going to be glaring. They do have the luxury of using a double in DD that they can't get away with in this but it's still impossible not to compare them.

I saw that a while back and was shocked too. Riding around with that little dog, it was so funny after the Chayton character.

The fight scenes have gotten better, not great though. The tower scene looked like a Bushido master video, guys slowly moving and punching at him as to not really hurt him. Goood point on the stunt double, but to that point get some one that can fight to play the character. I'm sure they'd have about the same acting ability as the guy playing him.

I gave up on that show. But about this...

Since Rosario Dawson is on here, i assume Daredevil exists in this universe? Why not just get him to help fight The Hand?

That wasn't really a serious question by the way. Maybe a little.

All the Netflix shows are in the MCU. And they are making The Defenders, which all 4 of the Netflix MCU people will be in (and The Punisher might appear some too).
