The photo at Pearl's home did prove the violation. What was worse was the fact that he lied about it, got others to lie about it, and that they tried to cover it up. It was idiotic and if he had simply told the truth he would most likely still be working here at UT and the UT BB program wouldn't be about to get reemed by the NCAA. It happened and we'll get what we deserve.
The T-Town photos may not actually prove anything by themselves, but we should all be able to agree that it looks suspicious and they could be considered "proof" if there was anything else that came to light to go with them. Like reciepts or bank records or if a witness to a violation came forward, for example. But as of right now, no other evidence has be brought forward, so a violation of NCAA rules can not be assumed. However, the NCAA should not be willing to accept UA's own internal investigation on it's face value. Honestly, I'll be amazed if the NCAA does accept it and completely drops the matter.
So the distinction may be that the photo at Pearl's home proved a violation occured while the "T-Town" photos do not prove that a specific violation did occur. The photos are, however, very suggestive AND there has not been any other evidence brought forth that completely clears up the situation either. So unless you're willing to admit that you are being a 100% Bama "homer" and are choosing to accept the university's word that all is OK; you have to admit that it does look suspicious and something "fishy" might have occured.
Btw, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being a 100% "homer" for your school/team. I am a homer for UT and I make no apologies for it. But even if I am UT to the core, I am also still a relatively rational and reasonable person, so I know there always has been and always will be "things" that go on behind closed doors at most universities that are not completely by the rules.
