Is Coker Best RB In SEC???

I hope that you are right Vol 4 life, I think a lot will be learned about arky between now and when we play thme. first I off we've got to look at Bama, USC and LSU before we even begin to think about the hogs. I do tend to agree that we will not suffer the same fate as Auburn b/c we can score more quickly but I don feel that McFadden is gonna put some stats up against us..as will felix jones.

difference is Charly that Arkansas can pound the ball with Jones and McFadden and keep our offense off the field. I don't what their time of possesion is but I imagine it's probably up there in the SEC. That's what Florida was able to and we only scored 20 points and lost the game.

Actually, going into the Auburn game Arkansas was near the bottom of the SEC in time of poss.

Freshman, 2 starts does in no way equal best RB in the SEC. I would say he has more potential than any freshman RB I have seen in the SEC. He could end up being one of the best in the SEC before he graduates. I would agree with many on here that McFadden is the all-around RB in the SEC...hands down.

I just had this conversation on the phone a few minutes ago. Arky can't beat us. They have a true Frosh. QB. They are dead last in the nation with only one takeaway. That should tell you something about their defense. With any pass D at all they should just luck up and get three or four Int.'s this deep into the schedule. Plus we seem to play better on the road for some wierd reason.

Statistically FElix Jones leads the SEC with over 7 yards per carry, Coker is second with 6.7. Coker is a very good back, but Foster is much better in short yardage situations, or on the goal line. I've noticed on the replays that Coker has left some yards on the field by not bouncing it outside with his speed. I think he's listening to the coaches too much.
