I know that coming into this season all I heard about was Eric Striker and the Oklahoma front 7, and they lived up to their reputation against us.

I have heard very little about Georgia's front 7 except now that I'm talking to Georgia fans, they seem to think we will have a similar experience. I'm even hearing a lot of "you thought Oklahoma was all over Worley, just wait until Saturday" kind of talk. I haven't really done the research, just curious as to everyone's thoughts. Will this be Oklahoma part 2 for our O-line or is this mostly just fluff from Georgia fans?

Front 7 is good. Secondary is very average and lacks depth.

I doubt we see a pass rush as good as Oklahoma from here on out.

Georgia fans have no common sense when it comes to football they simply say what the voices inside there head tell them to say which comes out as just hot air. It's hard to to tell if they are trying to have a conversation or simply try to get a stiffy from hearing there self talk they are the most ignorant pride happy fan base I have ever met . GO VOLS:realmad:

No. I think they have some really good guys in certain spots. The others are fillers. With that being said, I have yet to see our line pick up any elaborate stunt or blitz package yet. I'm hoping in the off week that has been addressed thoroughly. We shall see. The secondary is not that great for uga, but I havent seen to much separation with our receivers on deep routes. A lot of people are speaking poorly of worleys deep thrown balls, but if you watch the offensive plays in our three games you will see that the wr was covered within a half step in most cases. I hope to see a few passes to our guys that have maybe 2 to 3 steps on the coverage. I personally don't recall many so far, but I'm old and memory is shot.

Secondary is very average...

... and you sir, are being kind. Because of lack of athleticism they are having to give too big of a cushion opening up a huge soft spot between the LBs and DBs ... Just watch the uSC game. They exploited this weakness and took home a W.

Ask South Carolina...Georgia is overrated, slow their run game and it will be all VOLS...don't be surprised if we win by double digits.

UGA has an above average D line, rotating 8 players. The LB corps is the best in the SEC.
I haven't seen OU's. The front seven is not the problem at UGA.

From what I have seen of UGA. Their strength on defense is the pass rushing linebackers. Dline seems to do its job by occupying the online and the backers come right through. Short quick passing game will be a must again. Let's hope bajakian gets it right this time.

I've heard a lot of excuses from Georgia fans and a lot involve talk of either their running game or front seven. Gurley is great but I think our defense can contain him some. He will get 100 yards but their front seven I'm not sold on.

USCe line is much better than ours but the predictions of 6 sacks by some UGA fans is hilarious. If you want to see what I'm talking about just go to some of their football forums.

Trying to compare two teams are tough because football is about matchups.

How long did it take you to Google that generic answer? To answer the OP question no Georgia's front 7 is not as good as OU. Anxious to see if we see some quick hitters in the passing game this week that aren't bubble screens

They have yet to stop anybody but Troy the past two years, including us last year. What has significantly changed other than their playing a lot of freshman trying to find someone to make a tackle? Granted a new DC, but still haven't stopped anybody but Troy. Clemson you say? Right a Clemson team that lost 80% of its offensive production to graduation, ran up and down the field on the Dawgs their whole first half and due to inexperience couldn't adapt the 2nd half, hardly a ringing endorsement for a Dawg defense being anything but mediocre at best the whole of the 2014 season.
