Is Jason Croom new Patterson

THAT IS FREAKIN' UNDERSTATEMENT!!!

Plus friends and family......and now our older kids are married and their own families that is why..... I LOVE THE HOLIDAYS for this reason.

All of our boys are 6'3- 6'4' 6'4 & 6'6

Let me tell you this before somebody asks....

I LOVE CP's GAME!!!!!! Undeniable a great JUCO receiver.!!!!!!!!!!! I was hoping he stayed this season.... Jason's abilities and strengths aren't the same as ANY other player or former players. Croomster is a freak of nature in his own right. NOOOOO other receiver past or present is as big / fast as he his at his size and weight who isn't ALREADY in the NFL......

I think the training and instruction that the boys are receiving right now is phenomenal and the results will show in a few months.

So, should I infer that you're on the Butch boat? Are you pleased with the coaching staff so far? (I know that you are still a big CDD fan, so don't interpret this as a request for you to compare/bash. Just interested if you have any insight to current coaches.)

croom is a lot like alshon jeffries...CP is a lot like devin hester with hands. no comparison.

Croom has the size of Calvin Johnson. If he can be half as dominate as Calvin Johnson we will be just fine and defenses will be asking for mercy. GBO :td:

Anyone else see croom and the other receivers running drills against the DBs in woodberrys video? On a fade route I would think he should be able to post up and somehow separate himself from a smaller DB. It's going to be interesting to see how he can use his weight on the field.

Dude was an impact player. Not the first. And certainly not the best ever, or the last on Rocky Top. Fits in well with our tradition of great JUCO players..

If anybody could read I said had CP been here for 3 years he would have been the greatest offensive player to ever run through the T. I never said he was.

Tennessee was called Wide Reciever U for a reason.
Stanley Morgan, Willie Gault, Alvin Harper, Anthony Miller, Carl Pickens, Joey Kent, Marcus Nash, Donte Stallworth, Peerless Price and Robert Meachem.
CP was great but I see several on that list I would take before him at this moment.
Anybody remember Kelly Washington? How did that NFL career go anyway.

Can I get a "what what" for Larry Seivers?

Edit: pretty sure Stanley Morgan was a tailback at UT, at least after his freshman year. Transitioned to WR in the NFL...a great WR in the NFL.

So many all time greats like: Burney Veazy, Kenny O'Neal, James banks. The list goes on and on.

KW spent 9 seasons in the NFL that's a lot of paychecks. I would say his NFL career was better then Kent and Nash. Not that it really matters since we're talking about UT greats not NFL greats.

If he, Paul Harris and Cody Blanc can step it up by the start of the season...that's a LOT of size at the WR position (Croom 6'5", Harris 6'4", Blanc 6'3"), for defenses to have to contend with. And that's not even counting North coming in, in the fall!

MZTERRY says Jason is 6'6"

I can't wait to see him play but I don't think he's a cp type guy. Not in a bad way. Cp was just all speed. Didn't really have great hands and wasn't real intelligent (learning the play book ect). I see vroom as a high character intelligent player. Can see him being the safety blanket our qb usually targets in crucial situations. And also vroom has 4 years to play which is a huge advantage. When it's all said and done I think we could look back and say cps contributions pale in comparison to crooms. Vfl baby!
