Is Palardy still a commit?

I a pretty good feeling Palardy will be a Vol come NSD, but I think its pretty retarded to think CDD would pull the offer of the #1 kicker in the country. Given our recent kicking game problems...

Love that retarded statement being a father of 2 Autistic boys.:finger3: GBO

Fine...but there's a kid Brian Davis (Brentwood, TN HS) who's beaten Palardy at kicking camps. He's wanted to be a VOL since day #1 but hasn't been given encouragement. He punts, placekicks & knocks kickoffs into the EZ. Looks like he'll end up at TCU unless Tennessee offers.

Palardy has never kicked against this kid. Palardy has attended two kicking camps I was at one of them...one when he as a soph at Miami and one this past year at Cardinal Gibbons HS in the summer. The kid Brian Davis, I promise you, has never kicked with Palardy. My kid kicks with Palardy all the time, and no kid kicks off and punts like Palardy. If Davis is punting consistently 60-70 yards, let's get them together and see.

Listen to Coach Conrad...no one knows better than he.

What'd Coach Conrad say? All I saw on this thread was his retort to the guy that said Palardy was beat in a kicking competion. Should we be worried that he didn't opine as to how strong a commitment Palardy currently is?

When someone spreads bs, it needs to be addressed.

Please, 75% of what's posted on this board is BS, have fun with that. There's a bunch of BS being thrown around on Volquest and Rivals MB and I haven't seen Coach Conrad address those posts.

It's 30 minutes from his home. It would be like taking an official to UT if I lived in Maryville. Point being, this is a serious visit.

So you think there's something to the speculation that he's interested in Miami?

Based on his latest comments, I think is a Vol. I was hoping Coach Conrad was going to post a comment about his commitment or UM visit, but he chose not to do so. We'll probably know for sure late Sunday or Monday.

“We were trying to convince him and he ended up committing so I guess we did a good job with that,” Cain said. “Yes sir, Jimmy Gaines did commit. Asante (Cleveland) is real close to making his decision and he said he’s coming here. Mike (Palardy) is going to Tennessee man, he wasn’t feeling Miami so we couldn’t say nothing to him.”

It cost us more than one game. It was one of the worst years I've seen in a while (at UT). I really don't understand the reason for it, our kicker was tremendous his freshman year and solid last year. He is a huge need for TN.

Inside word on Palardy is that he is not answering press calls. He is responding to coaches, but not the press. Apparently, parents and Conrad have instructed him to do so. They want to take time to discuss all options available so decision can be made with as much first hand information as possible. Very reasonable response to all that is going on. Once he makes his decision, at least we'll know that the controversy is over. So it looks as though no decision has been made no matter what the press says or anyone else comments.

Why even post this after a Miami insider posted his info about Mike? C'mon man!
