Is Rajon Neal Reliable?

Hardesty IMO was without a doubt a power guy. Made one cut and hit the hole. He did have a lil shake to him as well as we saw against SC with the spin move. But as much pub as the SC spin move got, he put a super sick spin on Brandon Spikes in the UF game too. That was the very moment I realized...this dude's for real.

Remember those well.

And I agree about him hitting the hole. When he decided "thats where I'm going" he did it violently.

I think Neal is a average RB, with that being said, he does seem to go down more easily than I would like to see. Neal's ability to gain yardage after contact is still in question. I hope this coaching staff can improve his toughness running between the tackles. We'll know very soon.

Its a good question but 9 out of 10 players will run laps from time to time

Righton. You can be running cause your position coach needs an example, had a fight with the Mrs. You fill in the blank. I ran once for knocking our QB to the ground in 3/4 thud drill. Who knew QB's were such delicate creatures:)

Neal has a similar skill set to Isiah Pead that Jones coached at Cinci. Even in our win against them Pead had 150 or so total yards on us.

Overreaction to something that just happened to be caught on film and commented on by the media.

He's an elite athlete. I have no idea if he will become an elite RB... but his measurables are comparable to guys who are drafted in the first round.

He has legit speed with a laser timed 40 under 4.4. He's one of the strongest lb for lb players on the team. He has very good quickness.

Somehow Chaney/Dooley never turned that into the kind of production you would expect.

Neal has displayed little heart or courage. Will he? If Neal doesn't come out smokin' early this season, that will be the legacy he takes into the NFL.

Heartless.

I like the RB rotation. Makes RBs give it their all knowing they have competition and allows them to stay more rested and fresh legged. Let Hill pound them for a while, then let a fast Neal or Lane outrun them. Rinse and Repeat!

Because I effing watch him play? Where have you been, under the Orange Koolaid tanker?

Ok, let me change that, you have no idea about his heart or his courage. You may think that watching him play football gives you some insight to him personally, but you would be wrong.

Of course, you know he has heart and courage because, er, why is that exactly? Oh, that's right, because you're intimate with his avatar.

How's that working out for you by the way? Is it love? :cray:

You've got no idea about his heart or courage. All you know is that the results haven't quite been there.

I never said one thing about his heart or courage as I don't know the man. I only questioned your ability to judge him from your living room.

Oh, wait, I see, you think because I chose his picture as my avi, that I am in love with him. Ok, so you don't get the wrong impression, I'll change it to something I really love.

I see a heartless, courage-less RB whose results are proof of the same. I have no idea what "haven't quite even there." is supposed to mean.
