I don't get people saying this game is bigger than the Georgia game, just two weeks ago.No. It's not even the biggest game this year. It's just another season ending Vandy game.
It’s Vandy. We know it’s Vandy, but with everything on the line, I can’t remember a bigger game since a December 2001 game in Atlanta . We don’t need to go down that rabbit hole of horror, but this seems like this is the biggest and best opportunity we’ve had in a long time . USCjr in 2022 is also in the discussion.
What say you guys and girls?
Why Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia called his approach to first game vs Tennessee like 'life or death' — The Tennessean
I’m just glad it’s a late morning game. UT always seems to play better in a noon start. There’s something about a night game (see USC jr. in 2022) that is dangerous for games like this. It’s Vandy. If winning means we get into the playoffs and losing means we don’t, it’s in the conversation. I would say the same thing no matter who the opponent was given the circumstances.Vanderbilt will NEVER be the biggest game on the schedule for us. It will ALWAYS be the biggest game on Vanderbilt’s schedule. It’s just a business as usual for us.
